Welcome to Bingle Vet Katy

Welcome to the local introduction of Bingle Vet Katy, your neighborhood Pet Hospital located at 5215 FM 1463 #400, Katy, TX 77494, USA. At Bingle Vet Katy, the dedicated team strives to provide a range of veterinary services to ensure the health and well-being of your cherished animal companions. As a Pet Hospital, Bingle Vet Katy aims to be your partner in maintaining your pet's optimal health through various medical and preventative care measures.

While specific details about the clinic's environment are not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, you can generally expect a professional and clean setting at any reputable Pet Hospital. The focus is typically on creating a comfortable, safe, and hygienic space for examinations, treatments, and procedures. Bingle Vet Katy likely provides a welcoming reception area, examination rooms where veterinarians can assess your pets, and potentially surgical suites and recovery areas, depending on the scope of their services. The positive experiences shared by some customers suggest an environment where pets are handled with care and attention.

Based on the customer reviews, Bingle Vet Katy offers a variety of veterinary services. One customer mentioned bringing their rescue dog for annual vaccinations and a wellness exam, indicating that routine preventative care is likely a part of their offerings. This typically includes vaccinations, parasite prevention (like heartworm checks mentioned in another review), and general health check-ups. The instance of a cat with a bloody foot being seen promptly suggests that they also handle urgent care situations. Dr. Ellender's examination and diagnosis of the cat further indicate diagnostic capabilities. However, one review raised concerns about prescribed medications, suggesting that while medication dispensing is a service, it's important for pet owners to feel confident in the necessity and pricing of these items.

Several features of Bingle Vet Katy stand out from the customer feedback. The attentiveness and thoroughness of the staff, particularly Dr. Ragsdale and Lorena, were highlighted in one positive review, emphasizing their patience in addressing the owner's questions and concerns. The prompt response and care received by the cat with a foot injury also showcase their ability to handle more immediate needs efficiently. Taneka's quick scheduling, Amy's preliminary exam, and the overall kindness and knowledge of the staff, as mentioned in that review, point to a team that is responsive and caring.

However, it's important to also consider the less positive feedback. One customer, who had been a returning client, expressed disappointment with a more recent experience, citing a long wait time, concerns about potentially unnecessary and expensive medications, inconvenient usage of prescribed items, and a refusal to reimburse an unopened medicated shampoo. This suggests that while many experiences are positive, there might be inconsistencies in service or approaches to treatment and cost. As an objective introduction, it's crucial to present all available information from the reviews.

The initial positive review praised the compassionate and quality care received, recommending the clinic. The later negative update, however, advises looking for a new vet, expressing a feeling that the clinic might prioritize sales over the pet's best interest. The contrasting experiences highlight the importance for potential new clients to consider both the positive and negative feedback when making their decision.

The experience of the cat owner who found "angels on earth" at Bingle Vet Katy offers a strong counterpoint. The ability to get a same-day appointment for an urgent issue, the immediate attention upon arrival, and the calming effect the staff had on the distressed cat are significant positives. This review specifically commends Taneka, Amy, Katy, and Dr. Ellender for their kindness, nurturing approach, and expertise, suggesting that for certain situations, the clinic provides exceptional care.

Considering all the feedback, Bingle Vet Katy appears to be a Pet Hospital that, for many, provides attentive and compassionate care. The responsiveness in urgent situations and the kindness of the staff are frequently mentioned as positive features. However, there is also a concern raised about potential over-prescription and pricing of medications, as well as customer service issues regarding returns. As there is no specific promotional information available in the provided text, potential clients are encouraged to contact Bingle Vet Katy directly at (713) 468-3688 or +1 713-468-3688 to inquire about their services, environment, and any current offers. Visiting the clinic might also provide a better sense of their environment and approach to pet care.

In conclusion, Bingle Vet Katy, as a Pet Hospital in Katy, Texas, has received both high praise for its caring staff and prompt service in urgent situations, as well as criticism regarding medication practices and customer service in a specific instance. Local users looking for a veterinary clinic should weigh these experiences and perhaps contact the clinic directly to determine if it meets their needs and expectations for their pet's health care.

Update, 4 years later. We will be looking for a new vet. My husband took our two dogs for regular heart worm check and one had a hot spot on his foot. My husband waited a full hour before he was seen. Then after he was seen, he was prescribed several meds that after researching properly after we got home we realized they just threw the most expensive stuff at us to purchase and inconvenient to use and most likely not necessary. Also the same meds I was able to find on other pet websites for much better prices. We tried to return the $42 unopened medicated shampoo, but they refused to reimburse. It’s unfortunate but we will be taking our two dogs to a different vet. No longer feel like they have our dogs best interest at heart, have felt for awhile that service has deteriorated and that they care more about the meds, and the things they can get us to purchase than the well being of our pets. These people are angels on earth! Our cat was limping and later on we foundd his foot was bloody and he seemed to be in pain. I called SEVERAL other emergency vet clinics, all of them referred me to "blue pearl "clinic. I called the BP clinics and was told the wait was between 3 to 4 hours. Luckily, as a last resort I tried Bingle Vet Katy. Wow. Taneka answered the phone, listened to my situation and scheduled an appointment for our cat Malvin with the hour. I actually got there half an hour early, and they saw us almost immediately. Amy came to the car and did a preliminary exam. Shortly after we were called in. Although my cat was distressed in the car and carrier, as soon as he was examined in the waiting room he immediately calmed down. He was first prepped by Katy and then Dr. Ellender examined and gave us the diagnosis and plan forward. Malvin somehow was reassured by her and he got comfortable with her quickly. We were in an out in a little more than one hour. All the staff were kind, nurturing and knew their stuff!!! I highly recommend this vet office and their staff. We are new back to the states after 10 years abroad in The Netherlands where pet care is fantastic. Truthfully i was worried about getting the same care for our pets here, I needn't have worried as Bingle Vet exceeded all my expectations! I would highly recommend and will return for all our pet health needs. Thank you Taneka, Amy, Katy and Dr. Ellender!!!!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE - This place has no empathy for your pets but just bothered about how to fleece the customers. Our Frenchie was having a skin infection back in Mid December 2024. They prescribed meds . Then second visit his pee became slow ( Beginning Jan 2025 ) his meds were changed. 3rd Visit he was peeing blood ( Jan 27, 2025 ) - Serious condition . His meds were changed the 3rd time but the meds they give this time were huge and we struggled to give him the pills. So first thing next morning called them up at 9 am . Got a return call from assistant around 1:30 pm to maybe give injections to which we agreed but he had to check with doctor. We finally got a call from the doc around 4:30 pm telling there are no injections for it. You can bring the pet to us and each time we give the pills $ 17.50 would be the charge - mind you he needed one of the pills twice a day . Additionally they don't value your time . Every visit be ready to give away 1-2 hours of your time with the waiting etc . The doctor was more busy telling all the charges than being caring about the health of the pet. We asked if they could provide the soluble jelly to make the syrup ourselves to which she replied will have to check with management and get back to you. Finally I get a call yesterday February 6, 2025 to tell me to pick up the syrup. I asked so my pet was down with a serious condition on January 28th and you are calling me February 6 for the med . Do you think it was fine for your doctor to make us wait this long ? Sorry but I am not bringing my pet anymore to you guys. You guys don't care.

I just recently started taking my fur baby, love the low cost clinic offered occasionally at pet supplies plus! When there’s no clinics coming up, I come into the office. Always had a great experience, really show they care about your pets, some vet offices I visited lately, the staff can be so cold, but here it was warm welcoming and understanding. Dr. Lauren E. Ellender and the assistant I saw on my last visit with the other day were so amazing and caring with my Luna. Great experience and definitely great staff!

Love Dr Vaughn and all the staff. So thorough so caring and professional. They squeeze you in for unexpected emergencies I cannot say enough good things. I appreciate them and am so glad they are here in Katy. They take care of all of my dogs and whenever I need a quick visit for a mishap they are right there. They also have boarding too which is also wonderful. And also do the low cost clinic at pets supplies plus which I am thankful for with my group. Thank you Bingle!!
