I had to bring my sweet girl Miss Karma in for an urgent visit. My regular veterinarian could not get her in. Of course, I was nervous at this prospect. As soon as the veterinarian walked in I said “Wait! I know you. “ She smiled and I realized she had been my vet for years for my other Tibetan Terrier and Yorkie. The trust factor instantly soared and I immediately felt relaxed and confident that every need would be taken care of with care and compassion. We were not let down. This is how good God is. Miss Karma has found her home at Big Bend. Thank you all for getting us right in and your kindness.

We have tried to take our pet here twice. The first time with fleas and our puppy was due for shots in 2 weeks. They stated every visit had a veterinary charge so we would be charged twice. The second time we had an emergency they could not get us in for 3 days and if we wanted an appointment we had to give them a $50 nonrefundable deposit. I don't like doing business with Veterinary that gouge.

Always kind and caring staff here. Our G/S Retriever mix has always had ear infections. After years of seeing other vets with no real results, they prescribed a solution that actually worked. She is happier than she has been in a long time. Thank you Big Bend Animal Hospital!!!

I took my 20-year-old cat in several months back because she had a lot of matting in her fur and needed to be examined and groomed. These people were extremely professional very nice and even sent me a card when my poor cat died a few months later. They knew the cat died because I was calling them for advice. I had somebody come to my house to put the cat down. They still cared enough to send me a nice card. I read some negative posts before I went there and I have to say those posts were nonsense these people really really care about you and your pet. The doctor and staff we're very good at their job. I have been going to vets for 40 years and I must say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I would say absolutely use this vet.
