Dr. Keeling and the entire staff are so caring and empathetic and truly care. Their communication with clients is top notch. If I send an email at 10:00 at night, I have a response in the morning. It’s so refreshing to be able to reach someone and get answers quickly when needed. I have never felt as comfortable with a vet and an office as I do here. The entire office works beautifully together and the girls at the desk are just super sweet and welcoming. I’m not easily impressed but this practice has been a blessing for me and my little Yorkie girl Molly.

We searched high and low for a vet that we could get a rescued kitten in asap on the same day (due to appearing underweight and flea infested). I was able to explain our circumstances, and they got us in within a couple hours. Our new addition was looked over thoroughly, and we ALL left in a much better state than when we arrived! We are very thankful for Best Friend Vet!

I recently moved to the area and picked Best Friend Vet based on their reviews. I have been VERY happy with them. I have three elderly pets who are needing increasing care. Dr. Keeling helped us so much with a new rescue kitty who had lots of strange problems right after rescue, and was able to point us in the right direction to get him the help he needed. Our puppy vet Dr. Certusi is one of the best vets I’ve ever had. She immediately diagnosed a very serious problem with my morkie that my other vet dismissed. She truly cares about every pet and works tirelessly (probably TOO MUCH…haha… remember to take a break and take care of YOURSELF, too!) to make sure she explores every avenue to help find the solution that will help them. She is so sweet and takes so much time to explain everything. I wish she was a human doctor, too, because I’ve never received that kind of care for any of my maladies and I’m honestly jealous of my pups! I’m so grateful we found Best Friend just when we needed them.

First off when Sue opened Best Friends that's exactly what it was Best Friends. I have been with Best friends for over 14 years. In those years both good and bad things happened. But thats a business. The good and the bad. Since we lost our fur baby this past December 2024 we have gone back and researched all of her records. What we found was puzzling. Tag it up to veterinarian and owner knowledge. Let's just say mistakes were made. We use to board our pup at best friends until the last time we went to pick her up she was severely traumatized. She was afraid to be away from our side for the longest time. We use to get her groomed there too. Same thing happened. She was traumatized. They had a groomer by the name of Tami that was exceptional. Our pup actual loved to see her.. Then Tami left and the new groomer told us that your dog doesn't like being sprayed in the face with water..uh Hello! She's a ShihTzu... I learned to groom her after that.. Of the different vets that saw our pup I would say they provided minimal care at best. We have since learned that the breed ShihTzu does have different needs. Some very pacific. So can't expect every vet to know all breeds so I put part of that blame on me. In general the place is clean. The staff mostly has been very nice. With the exception of the different groomers that mistreated our pup and what happened while she was boarded. Its the average run of the mill vet. Nothing like when Dr. Sue started the practice. I don't think the waiting rooms have ever been renovated. Lastly I will say the staff that was there on the 27th of December was extremely good. We didn't know that we were going to lose our pup but they handled it very well. They let us hold her as she slipped into sleep.. After she was gone they prepared her for us to take home in a burial container to her resting place. They gave us paw prints and nose prints and little viles of her hair. They even made us a plaster heart with her paw print on it.. She's now at the Rainbow Bridge. Will I take my new pup to Best Friends. I have not decided. I am not as trusting of veterinarians like I use to be. But I have to find a good one.

Amazing care for my four legged child! Set up an indoor/outdoor kennel for a long weekend yet my wild child decided to open his gates on his own. The techs did awesome in communicating his change in room, explained the safety issues of him possibly getting out, and compromised with extra outside time and loves. Will definitely board him there again.
