Welcome to Bent Arrow Vet
Bent Arrow Vet, located at 11318 E 91st St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012, USA, serves as a local "Pet Hospital" dedicated to providing veterinary care for animals in the community. This introduction aims to offer local users a detailed overview of the clinic, including its environment, the services it provides, its features, and relevant promotional insights drawn from available information and customer feedback.
For appointments or inquiries, Bent Arrow Vet can be reached at (918) 459-9100. The mobile phone number, +1 918-459-9100, offers an additional contact method for pet owners, reinforcing their accessibility for scheduling or any questions regarding their pets' health.
The environment at Bent Arrow Vet appears to elicit mixed reactions from customers, as is common with any service provider. While some clients describe it as an "Awsome place" with an "amazing staff" that cares about "you and your animals," suggesting a generally positive and caring atmosphere, other feedback points to potential inconsistencies in customer service. One review describes a receptionist as "very rude" and "snapping," which could negatively impact the overall experience for some visitors. This suggests that while the clinic aims to foster a caring environment for animals, direct interactions with staff may vary. The comfort of the animals, however, seems to be a priority for many clients who appreciate the care their pets receive. The differing experiences indicate that while the core mission of animal care is present, consistency in customer interaction could be an area of focus for the clinic.
As a "Pet Hospital," Bent Arrow Vet provides a range of services typically found in a general veterinary practice. Based on the customer reviews, specific services mentioned or implied include:
- Grooming: One customer explicitly mentions taking their dog in for grooming. This indicates that the clinic offers professional grooming services alongside medical care, providing a convenient integrated service for pet owners.
- Flea and Tick Medication: The same customer also requested "flea/tick meds," suggesting that the clinic dispenses or administers preventative treatments for external parasites, which are crucial for pet health.
- General Veterinary Care: While not explicitly detailed, the reviews mentioning staff caring for "your animals" and pets like a "Malamute Larka and Noel our 24 year old cat" implies a comprehensive approach to pet health. This would typically include:
- Wellness Exams: Routine check-ups to monitor overall health and detect any issues early.
- Vaccinations: Essential immunizations to protect pets from common diseases.
- Diagnosis and Treatment of Illnesses: Addressing various medical conditions, from common ailments to more complex issues.
- Preventative Health: Offering advice and products for ongoing pet wellness.
- Emergency/Urgent Care (Implied): While not explicitly stated as an emergency hospital, pet hospitals often handle unexpected or urgent health concerns. The nature of a "Pet Hospital" category generally includes readiness for unexpected situations, even if not 24/7 emergency service.
The variety of pets mentioned, including a dog and a very old cat, suggests that the clinic is equipped to handle different species and age ranges, from young animals to senior pets requiring specialized attention.
Bent Arrow Vet possesses several features that define its service, as indicated by client feedback:
- Caring and Dedicated Staff: A significant feature is the presence of "amazing staff" who "care about you and your animals." The positive review specifically highlights the team's dedication to taking care of pets, fostering a sense of trust and appreciation from pet owners. The long-standing loyalty of a 24-year-old cat indicates consistent, reliable care over many years.
- Fair Pricing: One customer explicitly states that the "prices are super fair." This suggests that the clinic aims to provide veterinary services that are reasonably priced, making quality pet care accessible to a broader clientele. However, it's worth noting that another review found the grooming service to be "crazy expensive," indicating that perception of value may vary depending on the specific service.
- Convenience of Combined Services: Offering both grooming and medical services like flea/tick medication under one roof provides convenience for pet owners, allowing them to address multiple needs in a single visit.
- Personal Connection: The warmth of certain staff members, as conveyed by positive reviews, contributes to a personal connection with clients, making them feel valued. The holiday greetings mentioned in a review ("wish you all a very Merry Christmas") further illustrate a personal touch and community engagement.
While some customer interactions may vary, the core strength seems to lie in the genuine care provided to the animals and the perceived fairness of pricing for many of their services.
The most impactful promotional information for Bent Arrow Vet comes from the direct testimonials of satisfied customers. Phrases such as "Awsome place amazing staff and they care about you and your animals," and "The prices are super fair. So glad we found them," serve as powerful endorsements. These statements highlight key benefits like a caring team and reasonable costs, which are highly attractive to prospective pet owners.
The mention of successfully taking care of pets like "Larka" the Malamute and "Noel our 24 year old cat" implicitly promotes the clinic's ability to handle diverse breeds and provide long-term care for senior pets, showcasing their broad expertise. The heartfelt "Thanks so much for taking care of them" from a grateful owner is a strong indicator of positive experiences leading to trust and loyalty.
While the negative review about staff interaction and grooming cost indicates areas for improvement, the strong positive feedback from other clients serves as a counterbalancing promotional force. The clinic's ability to create a trusting relationship with animals, to the extent that an "amazing staff" is recognized, is a significant draw. For local users, the primary promotional message revolves around a caring team and fair pricing for comprehensive veterinary services, making it a viable option for their pet care needs.

Dec 23, 2023 · Kenny HermanI will not be going back here mainly for their high pricing. The main reason I came here was because in the reviews someone said pricing was affordable. I was expecting about $200. They charged me $400 for X-rays, blood work and IV fluids that I don't feel like he needed. Two medications that he didn't need seeing as he was better by the next day. 🤦🏼♀️ The people were very nice and quick to get things done. The front desk put up a bit of a complaint when I asked for a bill breakdown and again when I said I didn't need the dog food they charged without asking if I wanted. I admit that they do let you know the big charges, x-ray and blood work. I don't remember agreeing to the fluids but it's possible. Overall really nice people and I felt they were eager to help my dog but their pricing is crazy and Not affordable for a lot of people.
