Bennett Creek Animal Hospital + PET Urgent Care

I brought Mila in for her paw laceration (pictured below). She was immediately checked in and taken for emergency stitches promptly. They managed to squeeze her in as the last client of the day, and didn’t for one second rush us, treat us like an annoyance or talk down to us. My girl was in so much pain and anxious, but the good energy here helped her calm down and settle before even doing anything. Everyone we encountered from start to finish was so friendly and accommodating. The front desk, vet tech, the vet, everyone! The competence and bedside manner was refreshing after repeated negative experiences at Gaithersburg Animal Hospital. Definitely our new go-to. Despite us being there so late, everyone took their time to make sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Instructions were explained patiently, thoroughly, and in helpful detail. I appreciated that they went out of their way to highlight key info in the discharge instructions. The silver lining in Mila’s unfortunate paw experience was finding this amazing vet clinic. Their prices are fair and you can definitely tell they care because they’re willing to listen and work with you. I can finally relax and trust that my baby is in good hands. 🩵 Special thank you to Dr. Kelly Hinkle, the amazing vet tech I think was named Jennifer, and the two ladies at the front desk! We had an excellent experience with Bennett Creek as they helped us navigate a health crisis for our senior cat. She got pancreatitis and had to be hospitalized for an evening then came home to recover with meds. They were flexible and helpful both at our appointments and by phone when we had questions or updates. She took about two weeks to fully recover but she made it through and seems to feel better than ever. I appreciated that all of the vets and techs and receptionists didn't rush us and seemed to genuinely care about our cat. It meant a lot to me because we love her so much!

Thank you all so much. My poor girl impaled herself with a stick all the way through her foot!! The staff were all so kind. They were busy but still able to get my girl in to sedate her and get the remaining pieces out of her foot. She’s doing great now. Highly recommend Bennett Creek Animal Hospital. They saved my kitty, Toby-Binx’s life. Basically because they knew what they were doing & they quickly examined him & figured out the problem. When two other vets missed that he had a sewing needle with thread stuck in the back of his mouth. They cared for him quickly & effectively, removing it & in no time we were on our way home with myself, my daughter & our kitty all very grateful. I can’t thank you enough. They were also very reasonable with the invoice 🧾.

Bennett creek has always been accommodating for emergency and wellness pet visits. Even with a busy work schedule, the availability always fits. I had a cat who acutely got ill and passed away, but Bennet creek always called to give me updates and I felt that we were cared for. I now bring my lab whom is terrified upon pulling into the parking lot. The vet techs and vets make her feel less scared about her visit. They take the time to listen and make her comfortable. As I've moved away locally from this area, I will still drive to Bennet creek so they can take care of my pets.
