Belle Isle Animal Hospital

The staff has always been friendly & patient with our new crazy English Cream golden puppy Hope. She had an organic peanut butter reaction and has been ill with major digestive issue. The doctor was very thorough running test and prescribed food and medication to help Hope! We are grateful she is finally getting better!

Great knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dr. Wolkow takes her time to explain everything and answer ALL of my questions. I never feel rushed like I have with other vets. She also takes the time to let my aspiring vet help with the checkup. 10/10 recommend Belle Isle.

Dr. Wolkow did an amazing job on my cat’s dental. They did important testing beforehand, which helped ease my nerves prior to putting him under anesthesia. He was completely back to normal the next day and is happier than ever. His technician, Christina, was amazing with him! She had him bundled up and sleeping peacefully when I went to pick him up. All of the staff I encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was also way cheaper than I expected. Dr. Wilcow always fits us in whenever there is an emergency and treats my cats like they’re her own. Thank you to everyone at Belle Isle!

Belle Isle is THE BEST! They are so gentle with my babies, and take such great care of them. We go every few months for a check up and get our annual visits with them and can’t express anymore how thankful we are to have such an awesome vet team. Two years ago, Smokey got bit by a copperhead, I called them freaking and panicking and they took him right away when I made sure they were available, and are the reason he is still with us today. I take both of my boys here (Charley is a English Creme Golden) and (Smokey is a Anatolian Shepard/Pyrenees mix) they are so patient with Smokey even though he is terrified of other people outside of immediate family. We 🤍 Belle Isle and their team!!

This review is LONG overdue! My family has been going to Belle Isle for three years, first with my mom's dog Gary and then with mine, Rose. All of the doctors at this practice are excellent, and the techs are knowledgeable and caring. I never feel rushed or like my anxious new dog mom questions are annoying. They are always patient and informative. They've taken care of us at the lowest (when Gary had heartworms) and at the most mundane of times (yearly vaccines and bloodwork) with the same care and attention no matter the circumstance. Dr. Wolkow is a wonderful vet and I trust her and her practice implicitly with both our babies.
