Bella Vista Equine Veterinary Services.

Today was my first experience with Belle Vista. My horse had colic issues really early this morning...my "normal vet" couldn't come til evening. These folks had 4 people and 2 vehicles at my farm in about an hour and they are 35 minutes from my farm. Had my big boy turned around in no time. I would recommend these folks to anyone who has their horses best interest at heart

I just love Bella Vista! They are so kind and attentive. Always sensitive to my ponies and have always be prompt! Katie is the best Vet tech they have! Love them all to pieces!! My ponies even love when they come!

Expert experience, thorough diagnosis, recommended follow up care, dependable advice, reliable appointment times, office staff is quick to respond and efficient in customer service. Each vet got my horse through really troubling issues through expertise and patience and thoughtful care

Very disappointed with the communication from this office. I made an on-site (their facility) lameness apt two weeks prior. I even confirmed the apt the day before. I get a call 4 hours before the apt stating they have to cancel because it’s raining. When I confirmed the day before no one said anything about the possibility of canceling due to rain the next day. We both took the entire day off for this apt. Days off work are not easy to come by. We had heard really good things about this vet practice but we didn’t get that from our experience. I would like to note this office tried to move our apt earlier in the week which they changed their minds and kept the apt. My guess is they needed my time slot for someone else. Edit to respond to vet office response. Rain had been in the forecast all week and the rain was over by the time the apt was happening. So no rain at the time of the apt. I was told they had to do the exam in their outdoor arena and it would be to wet. They knew the day before rain was in the forecast when I called to confirm the apt. Good news is another vet was able to see our horse and able to do a lameness exam in their driveway.

Love Dr.Peter and his tech Andrea. He is a FANTASTIC vet!! However, Dr.nick is a hothead . He over reacts and acts very juvenile and vindictive. He should also by AVMA , standards stop saying defamatory remarks about the other vets in the practice. He moved his wife and wife’s best friend in as managers. They worked at a coffee shop and didn’t know anything about horses. Dr. Nick ask me why I didn’t use their practice. I said I could never get an answer on the phone and when billed 7 months later it was another clients bill. Shame on him and his wife being so vindictive!!! I highly recommend Dr.Peter. He just wants to practice medicine and stays out of the Bella Vista Drama and vindictiveness.
