0 stars!! Do not bring your animals here. The staff does not know what they are doing, and the vets have zero empathy. I brought my animals here for years because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of switching facilities. However, they made constant mistakes with their medical history, so I had to keep my own notes to ensure their records were accurate. My final straw with this facility was when I had my animal scheduled for an Felv vaccine, but they had her down for an HCP vaccine when she had just got hers done a few months prior. Had I not kept my own notes and corrected the staff, they would have given her the wrong vaccine. Less than a week after I finally decided to discharge my animals, my poor cat was brutally attacked by another cat, and I had to take her in to to the ER all night ,she had puncture wounds and lacerations all over her body At that point, I didn't have another facility lined up. You would think that an ethical veterinary facility would prioritize the health and safety of animals and show some empathy, especially after my cat had been a patient there for several years. I needed to bring her in for a follow-up a few days after her ER visit, but Dr torrez would not see her. The manager Amanda made it pretty clear on the phone, She said, “I have to see if they are willing to see her after I decided to part ways.” her tone was harsh and and they did not have any regard for my poor cats health. In my head I'm thinking these people wont even check on my cat, in obviously an emergency situatuion that's Nobody anticipated??? I found their lack of concern for my cats well-being to be disturbing, disheartening, and disgusting. They clearly do not care about animals here or priotize there health and safety. Additionally, a close friend of mine had to put her cat down at this facility under the care of Dr Reinap and he was cold showed zero Empathy towards the situation, she was devastated . Don't waste your time here; it's the worst experience I've had with a vet.

Welcome to Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic

Welcome to the introduction of Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic, a facility categorized as a Pet Hospital, located at 3900 Ranch Rd 620 S #103, Austin, TX 78738, USA. You can reach them by phone at (512) 263-9029 or mobile at +1 512-263-9029. As a local Pet Hospital, Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic aims to provide a variety of services and potentially goods related to the health and well-being of your pets. This introduction will attempt to provide an objective overview based on the limited information available online, primarily focusing on customer reviews to understand the clinic's environment, services, and features.

Based on the available customer feedback, the environment and services at Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic appear to have elicited strongly contrasting opinions. One customer describes a negative experience, citing concerns about staff knowledge, a perceived lack of empathy from the veterinarians, and issues with maintaining accurate medical records. This reviewer mentioned multiple instances of alleged errors in their pets' medical history, requiring them to keep their own records. A specific incident involved a scheduling mix-up for vaccinations, where the wrong vaccine was supposedly intended to be administered. Furthermore, this review details a distressing experience following an emergency situation with their cat. The reviewer alleges a lack of empathy and unwillingness to provide follow-up care from Dr. Torrez and the manager, Amanda, after the pet had been seen at an emergency room. The reviewer also recounts a friend's negative experience involving the euthanasia of their cat under the care of Dr. Reinap, describing the veterinarian's demeanor as cold and unempathetic.

In stark contrast, another customer review presents a highly positive experience. This reviewer praises Dr. Torrez and her team for their wonderful service, particularly highlighting their ability to accommodate a last-minute appointment for an anxious dog. They commended the team's kindness and patience with the dog and appreciated a follow-up call to check on the pet's well-being. This positive feedback suggests that some pet owners have found Dr. Torrez and her team to be caring and responsive.

Considering these divergent opinions, it is challenging to form a definitive picture of the typical environment and services offered at Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic. The negative review raises serious concerns about the accuracy of medical record keeping, the level of staff competence, and the empathy shown by some members of the veterinary team, particularly Dr. Torrez and Dr. Reinap, as well as the manager, Amanda. The alleged lack of concern for a pet's well-being in an emergency situation, if accurate, would be a significant point of concern for potential clients. The positive review, however, indicates that at least some individuals have experienced compassionate and efficient care from Dr. Torrez and her team, including accommodating urgent appointments and showing care for the animal's anxiety.

In terms of features, based on the limited information, it can be inferred that Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic likely offers standard veterinary services, including vaccinations (though the negative review highlights potential issues in this area), and general medical care for pets. The mention of an emergency situation implies they may handle urgent cases or at least provide initial assessments and referrals if necessary. The positive review suggests the clinic is capable of accommodating same-day appointments, which can be a valuable feature for pet owners facing unexpected health issues with their animals. The follow-up call mentioned in the positive review indicates a potential focus on patient care beyond the immediate appointment.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given text. Therefore, we cannot detail any current offers, discounts, or specific programs the clinic might be running. To obtain such information, it would be best to contact Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic directly using the provided phone numbers or visit their physical location.

In conclusion, Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic, as a Pet Hospital in Austin, Texas, has received contrasting feedback from its customers. While one review expresses significant dissatisfaction regarding staff competence, record-keeping accuracy, and a perceived lack of empathy, particularly in emergency and sensitive situations, another review praises the kindness, patience, and responsiveness of Dr. Torrez and her team. Potential local users are advised to consider these varying experiences and perhaps seek additional information or clarification directly from the clinic to make an informed decision about their pet's veterinary care needs. It is important to personally assess whether the clinic's environment, services, and features align with your expectations and your pet's specific health requirements. Visiting the clinic for an initial consultation or seeking testimonials from other local pet owners might provide a more comprehensive understanding of the care provided at Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Torrez and her team are wonderful! I needed a very last minute appointment for my dog and they made time for him same day. He’s an anxious dog around people but they were kind and patient with him. She checked in the next day to see how he was doing as well. Great experience!

Dr. Reinap and his group of vet assistants are first rate and on several occasions went way above and beyond other vets who treated our incredible German Shepherd, the sweet Olivia. Olivia contracted cancer and we were told she would not live more than a two months. Other vets we took her too just told us nothing could be done with her periodically ballooning up with liquid sluffing into the body cavity which made her uncomfortable and made it difficult for her to move. With Dr. Reinap's and his loving assistants' repeated draining of her body cavity every 6 weeks or so, Olivia was able to live six months with a normal life without pain meds. What two other vets messed up, Dr. Reinap resolved with his experience. And the love and care that he and his team showed Olivia was literally like she was their own cherished pet. Dr. Reinap can be curt (mainly because he is busy, smart but not given to banal pleasantries, and goes above and beyond), but I'll take curtness with a high level of expertise that produces dramatic results for a dog other vets wouldn't properly treat, any day over a pleasantly incompetent vet who makes you feel good but does little or nothing for your pet.
