I am a disabled individual and my dog has become sick. I called this clinic for help. I am a young individual with severe disabilities and I am on disability. My dog is extremely important and she is such a sweet girl, but this clinic has told me without cash in hand without payment upfront. I cannot save my dog. They will not help her when you consider a clinic. Please consider that if you ever fall on hard times, which all of us are moments away from this clinic, will turn their back on you.

Based on the provided customer reviews, several key features of Bedford Animal Hospital stand out. One long-term customer of 15 years emphasizes the kindness and genuine care exhibited by the entire office staff towards their dog. They highlight the feeling that the staff truly loves animals and are always happy to see their pet. This speaks volumes about the compassionate approach and dedication of the team at Bedford Animal Hospital.

The receptionists and vet technicians are also commended for their kindness and helpful advice, particularly in managing the health of an elderly dog with arthritis pain. This highlights the supportive role of the entire staff in providing comprehensive care that extends beyond just medical procedures.

However, it is important to acknowledge the contrasting experience shared in another review. This individual, a disabled person facing financial hardship, recounts being denied care for their sick dog due to the inability to provide upfront payment. This review raises serious concerns about the clinic's policies regarding payment and their willingness to assist pet owners facing financial difficulties. While this may be an isolated incident or reflect a specific policy in place, it is crucial for potential clients to be aware of this feedback and to discuss payment options and emergency protocols with the clinic directly.

It is important to approach online reviews with a balanced perspective, recognizing that individual experiences can vary. The positive review spanning 15 years of service suggests a consistent pattern of compassionate and trustworthy care for many clients. However, the negative review highlights a critical area where the clinic may need to improve its communication and policies, particularly concerning emergency situations and clients facing financial constraints.

We have been going here for 15 years. This whole office has been so kind to my dog. I feel like they love her and always are excited to see her. The receptionists and vet techs have offered love and advice for my now elderly dog that is dealing with arthritis pain They are simply kind people that love animals. I am so happy we found them. I have never felt that they wanted to do extra tests or extra treatments just to make money. They are honest and truly care about my sweet dog. I trust them completely and that means a lot.

My husband and I been customers of Bedford Animal Hospital for 16 years. We have rescued many dogs and cats during this time and our beyond thankful for the wonderful doctors that have treated our family. During our 16 years we have never not paid our bill in full, regardless of the cost. On 9/4/24 we lost our sweet Suki, I was completely heartbroken and just needed to get home and cry. I stopped at the front desk and told the receptionist that my husband would come pay the bill tomorrow. She said was that approved? We don't do that and need payment now. I was completely taken back and told her, we always pay our bill and my husband will come tomorrow. As I was driving home after the shock of putting my Suki down, I get a call from Beth stating she would need payment for today. Absolutely the worst customer service ever by this front desk staff and manager. Know your customers!!! 16 years of service, always paid their bill and to be treated like this is awful. Needless to say, my husband returned immediately and paid in full. We will never use this office again. Again, KNOW your customer's. As an Office Manager Beth needs additional training on customer service.

Good animal hospital treating all sorts of pets plus livestock. 4 vets plus a surgeon, vet owned practice. Flexible hours and very caring and accommodating. Have a great website with discounts on common supplements like heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Plenty of parking, spacious waiting area, hc parking available and a covered outside waiting room for less socialized animals. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Boarding available. Been here well over 20 years. A+ for your animals.
