Very caring vet and crew! They have been great to my and my sons dogs! Very good and patient in answering my questions. Don’t push on things I’m not interested in. Highly recommend them!

The staff is all very friendly, I really liked our vet as she seemed to really care about my dog, was extremely educated, well spoken, and able to answer my questions while I was there. The only thing is the sense of urgency with the staff once you leave in regards to the quotes that they send you (takes a few days and a few phone call reminders) and having follow up questions prior to scheduling the surgery. I think the vet and office are great, but maybe have too much on their plate so please note if your dog needs surgery or follow up treatment, to be patient on getting quotes/questions answered, and they are always friendly when you call and remind/ask them for the follow up. Also - I took the lab work that Lovet did to another vet for a second opinion, and the second vet said everything that our Lovet vet did, but they quoted the surgery around $2,300-$2,500; whereas Lovet quoted us $2,200-$5,500 so a bit more pricey. But I would say this vet office did seem more experienced.

I didn’t even want to give any rating, but had to in order to write this review. We have always had excellent care from this facility until recently. I took my little dog in as she was in distress and not breathing well which came out of nowhere as she had been fine prior except we had pizza the night before and I assumed she got a piece of it and was choking. After their examination I was told that she had aspiration pneumonia and that there was no sign of anything lodged that would make her choke and that she was not stable but not critical and gave me some pills and an antibiotic. When we got home I gave her 1/2 of a pill which was awful as she was having such a hard time breathing. Shortly after I gave her a dose of the antibiotic and within minutes I believe she had a stroke and passed away. The following morning I called the office to have my baby cremated and the female employee who answered was clearly not in an empathetic mood what so ever stated “you can bring IT in” and then restated “I mean her in”, so needless to say that did not sit well with me at all. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the same girl and she took us to a room, got on the computer and went through a checklist of what we wanted. I specifically stated a cedar box, footprints and a vial of my dogs hair (as we have received before and thought that was so special). My daughter also clarified with her and was told “of course”. A week later I went to get her ashes and there was no fur. I called when I got home and was on hold for approximately 15 minutes on/off with questions as to who my tech was that had treated my dog (wouldn’t that be in notes) ? Then was told that they put hair on the imprint (in which we found only 3 pieces of hair and they are not even embedded in the imprint, they are loosely laid on there (as pictured ) and was told that my chart would be noted so that this will never happen again, they apologized and stated I would be compensated. What does that even mean? I paid just under $1000 for this horrible experience and absolutely heartbroken as to the lack of empathy and not receiving what I was assured. This little fur baby was my bestest little companion for 14+ years that literally never left my side.

Rachel and Ana were great with us and our cat, very patient, friendly and caring. Dr. Johnsen was great too! Probably one of the best visits we have had with our cat. We felt like they genuinely cared. Thank you!

Short wait for the doctor. His vet assistant was great and very good with my cat. The doctor listened to want I had say and very caring to my pet. Only place to with your pet. Great office staff too. 😊
