It’s my first time owning a dog and been going to another clinic since I had her. They were good but felt like something was missing so I tried this place out! I was so happy with how thorough, knowledgeable and transparent they were. On top of that everyone was kind and communicative and kept you updated about everything. Their confidence made me feel confident in what they were doing and was worth the time and money. Will definitely be coming back regularly to this location!

We recently switched to this clinic even though it’s a longer drive because our old clinic was charging four times the amount for spaying our dog. The procedure was exactly the same but affordable. And I was very pleasantly surprised at the care she received. I paid a small extra fee for the laser therapy and it helped tremendously. She healed quickly and with no complications. When I was a bit concerned on day two about the incision looking red I got on their online chat and sent a picture and the vet got back to me quickly to reassure me and give me some advice for care. It’s not a big fancy clinic, it’s modest and an older building but honestly felt very homey and the staff was caring and friendly. We will be going back here from now on with both of our dogs. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby girl.

Dr. Marron has been our vet for years, first for our dear Harley and now with Opie. Both are English bulldogs and much loved. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

The doctors are amazing. The practice has become a little greedy and unethical and suggest services that are not necessary and they try to make an extra buck. Many VETS are trying thumbs cheap trick and lose their main objective to be caring and helpful. Adding more clarity to respond to the owner. It is great when the doctor suggests a treatment after examining the pet. It is a cheap trick when the charges are added upfront before the doctor reviews the pet. All services should be transparent and explained clearly on a one on one basis. There is no blanket treatment. I wrote this review after talking to the doctors and you the owner about the added costs that I declined at the counter several times even before being seen by any of you. I assumed that the office management staff were responsible, which you have confirmed was done at your behest. Hopefully you will have the courage to change your policy to make the pet owner aware of optional needs and required treatment during consultation, talk about the pros and cons and then the price during the doctors consultation. Building a relationship goes both ways and trust is lost quickly when bad things persist. Sad thing is your business management practices made us lose the trust in your practice and not the two doctors mentioned below. I have persian kitties and have been going to Battlefield Clinic since 2018. My 1st experience was with Dr. Marron who in my opinion is the best Veterinarian I ever encountered. He treated my tiny kitten that was less than half a pound and almost dying at that time, he’s now a very handsome and healthy 5 years old boy. My female who’s 7 yo was spayed at this clinic in January 2024 by DR. Crawford who’s also an amazing doctor and human being.. my girl did phenomenal and recovered in a couple of days. I have a male Persian that’s my whole world and I’ve been extremely worried about neutering him for years., he’s had an issue once after a Vet from another practice (a well reputed doctor) sedated him to remove some matted hair around his belly.. my boy was near death and stopped eating for days but luckily I was able to save him by force feeding him. After getting my female spayed at this clinic, a few months later I decided to neuter Leo and I did. Dr Crawford made it happen again for me and my baby Leo did awesome during and after his surgery. The cost was less than half of what other clinics charge (I have years of experience with Persians) their charges are pretty close to what certain humane society and other so called affordable pets practices charge to neuter or spay your pet. I’m extremely appreciative of their service and especially care for my 2 adult Persians, thank you Dr Marron and Dr. Crawford you are the best in the industry and I’m NOT exaggerating. Note; we were living in Williamsburg VA. when I decided to drive 3 hours to bring my female Persian to this practice to get her spayed.. we stayed at a rented place in the area for 6 days because of her surgery.. it was worth the trip and expense, my beautiful girl has been doing amazing since, especially was cared for by these wonderful professionals.
