I really like Jesse and Susan. The Doctor who was there was great. I absolutely do not appreciate the fact that they cut Koda nails and could not use the buffering gadget . This has never happened before, the good workers are all gone and the vets seem to leave too. I want to cancel the dental part of the wellness plan since he鈥檚 behind and they can鈥檛 get him scheduled until later. I paid well over $1000.00 for x-rays, meds and food for pancreatitis for Koda. I now switched to Sundays food and slow cooking ground turkey and adding veggies and fruits to his diet and there have been no problems. I鈥檓 going to search for another vet when this year is over. His anul glands were also not extracted enough. I鈥檓 so sad to see Banfield going down when it comes to care and overpricing! 馃憥馃徎

Banfield Pet Hospital Introduce

Welcome to Banfield Pet Hospital, located at 3047 Wilma Rudolph Blvd Ste B in Clarksville, TN. As a dedicated pet hospital within the broader category of pet care providers, Banfield aims to be a trusted partner in your pet's health and well-being. Serving the local community, Banfield Pet Hospital offers a range of veterinary services and products designed to keep your furry companions happy and healthy.

Based on information available online, Banfield Pet Hospital in Clarksville presents a mixed picture of customer experiences. One recent review expresses significant dissatisfaction, citing concerns about declining care quality, specifically mentioning issues with nail trimming procedures (lack of buffering), the departure of valued staff and veterinarians, difficulties in scheduling appointments (leading to a desire to cancel a dental wellness plan component), and perceived overpricing, particularly in relation to a pancreatitis treatment. The reviewer also noted dissatisfaction with anal gland expression and an overall sentiment that the hospital's standards are declining.

In contrast, another customer shared a positive first-time experience. This review highlighted the cleanliness of the facility, the friendliness of the staff, and the informative and caring nature of the veterinarian. The reviewer appreciated the thoroughness of the general health check-up, the willingness of the vet tech and doctor to answer questions, and the personalized advice received regarding pet products and food. The availability of on-site medication, including flea, tick, and heartworm protection, was also seen as a significant benefit. Furthermore, the reviewer found the offered pet insurance plans to be reasonably priced and potentially cost-saving, ultimately recommending Banfield Pet Hospital based on this positive initial encounter.

Considering these contrasting viewpoints, it is important for local users to understand the potential environment and services offered at Banfield Pet Hospital. The facility appears to prioritize cleanliness, and at least some staff members are perceived as friendly and caring. The availability of a veterinarian who is described as informative and attentive suggests that comprehensive medical advice and care are part of their service offerings. The mention of a free first-time visit coupon indicates that they may have promotional initiatives to attract new clients.

As a pet hospital, Banfield likely provides a range of medical services beyond general check-ups. These typically include vaccinations to protect against common pet diseases, diagnostic procedures such as x-rays (as mentioned in one of the reviews), and treatment for various illnesses and conditions, such as the pancreatitis case also noted. The availability of medication on-site is a significant convenience for pet owners, allowing for immediate access to necessary treatments. The mention of flea, tick, and heartworm protection suggests a focus on preventative care, which is crucial for maintaining your pet's long-term health.

The offering of wellness plans and pet insurance options indicates Banfield's aim to make pet care more affordable and accessible. Wellness plans often cover routine care such as annual check-ups, vaccinations, and sometimes dental cleanings, typically for a fixed monthly or annual fee. Pet insurance can help offset the costs of unexpected illnesses and injuries. The positive reviewer noted the reasonable pricing of the insurance plans and the potential for discounts on medication with these plans, highlighting a potential cost-saving benefit for pet owners.

Dental care is specifically mentioned in one of the reviews, both as a service offered within a wellness plan and as an area of concern regarding scheduling. This suggests that Banfield Pet Hospital likely provides dental services for pets, which are essential for their overall health. Regular dental check-ups and cleanings can prevent dental disease, which can lead to other health problems.

In terms of features, the on-site pharmacy is a significant advantage, allowing pet owners to obtain prescribed medications and preventative treatments directly from the hospital. This eliminates the need to visit a separate pharmacy and ensures that the medication is readily available. The potential for discounts on medication through insurance plans further enhances this feature.

While specific current promotional information is not available in the provided text, the mention of a "free first time visit coupon online" suggests that Banfield Pet Hospital may periodically offer promotions to attract new clients. It would be advisable for interested local users to check the Banfield Pet Hospital website or contact them directly at (931) 906-8664 or +1 931-906-8664 to inquire about any current special offers or discounts.

In conclusion, Banfield Pet Hospital in Clarksville, TN, offers a range of veterinary services and products, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, on-site pharmacy services, and wellness and insurance plans. While customer experiences appear to vary, the hospital offers a convenient location, a clean environment, and access to veterinary professionals. Local users are encouraged to consider both the positive and negative feedback when making decisions about their pet's care and to potentially take advantage of any introductory offers to experience the services firsthand. Contacting the hospital directly for more information about their current services, pricing, and any ongoing promotions is recommended.

This was my first time going to this pet hospital. Just doing a general health checkup for my dachshund. I wanted to make sure he was doing good. I had found a free first time visit coupon online which was great. So this visit didn鈥檛 cost anything for me. The facility was super clean, staff were friendly, and the Vet doctor was very informative. I love how caring the she was too. She loved my dog and it鈥檚 nice seeing someone actually care for your pets health and wellbeing. The vet tech and vet doctor answered all my questions and concerns with ease. They put up with me showing all the different products I use on my dog to make sure they were good to use. They gave me great suggestions on what brand of dog food to give my little guy, and also showed me some insurance plans they offer. The insurance prices aren鈥檛 bad either, so that鈥檚 nice. I鈥檓 super glad they have the medication I need for my dog too. Your typical flea, tick, and heart worm protection. You can get a discount on medication there with their insurance plans which I think is awesome and very helpful. You know how expensive animals can be at times. I highly recommend going to this establishment.

The ladies that work there are so kind and gentle with my dog. They give realistic advice and do not push unnecessary extra treatments. By far the best team I鈥檝e had at a Banfield and I鈥檝e been using them in different cities and states for years.

Had an in room appointment for a routine check up for my two small dogs. Ended up taking an hour and a half, I would鈥檝e just dropped off if I knew it was going to take so long. Paperwork took atleast 15 minutes to send over from the back to the front. Very disappointing and inconvenient. We鈥檝e been clients for 6 years and it鈥檚 just gone downhill. Do not recommend.
