Banfield Pet Hospital

I took my girl, Umi, to the vet last week for the first time, and she was cared for like it was their own baby! The facility is small but quiet, and the staff is great, I came right in with no issues, and we were in and out in less than an hour and a half!

Staff was very understanding and helpful when I brought my dog in for an emergency. They were able to get him an appointment same day and even accommodate a change in time. Rooms were clean, stocked with tissues, and services were fast. Before doing anything they were willing to tell me the anticipated costs.

The staff is very pleasant but I’m very disappointed in the care. they didn’t give me enough medications for my cat. The first time (January) I called and they told me (condescendingly) that it was my fault and I probably just gave him a little too much each dose and that’s why I ran out…. I’m a nurse… and I think I can figure out how to draw up medication. I took a picture of the prescription bottle because I knew they were the ones in the wrong but wouldn’t admit it. They gave me 15 mL of medication to be given twice a day for 10 days. He was supposed to get 1 mL each time… which means he had enough just for over 7 days. At this point his symptoms had improved and they told me he was fine to not take anymore. I thought trying a different location would give me better results…. But again they did not give me enough doses for my cat even on a completely different medication. Even with the wellness plan the services are still overpriced. I will be canceling in December when my year is up.

The clinic I normally take my puppy to is closing down, so I was in search of a new vet for Nalani. I had a morning appointment for my staffy for main concerns regarding her skin (turns out she just has a corn/wart developed) and a wellness check up The staff here are wonderful! Tori and Michael (front desk) thank you for your friendly attitudes. Carly (vet tech?) and Dr. Pahran (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) are wonderful in their patience and transparency with providing me information about my pupper, what to expect during the visit, things I need to do to follow up, and just general information about caring for my fur baby. Thank you guys so much for your patience with my nervous puppy and all that you do!

The whole office is awesome! One of our dogs was recently diagnosed with a seizure disorder so I'm now one of those dog moms that always has several questions. Dr. Durig always patiently and thoroughly answers them all. The front desk folks are all very kind and seem sincerely interested in our pets.
