I brought a new kitten here, and it was a really weird experience. The nurse was very obsessed with making sure I knew everything about having a new kitten. She spent an hour just talking to me about how I should care for the kitten. About 40 minutes in the receptionist came back and said they had no idea I was in a room or ready because the nurse had not checked me in on the computer. Then what the nurse told me the vet said the opposite. The price quote I got on the phone was $75 off, and again, it was just a very weird experience. I will likely not be going back here as I didn't want to sit in a room with a nurse an hour while she told me things I knew. Then she also tried to teach the new kitten how to drink from the sink! I don't want that cats should not be on counters. There can be dangers on a kitchen or bathroom counter it's why I have a fountain for my cats. I felt like she was just a little overbearing even though I knew it was meant in good spirit. I got want I needed done but again for me that employee was just a little too much. My visit was almost 2 hours, which is a little crazy for a vet visit. One of the cool things I liked was the welcome board in the reception showing the animals' names visiting that day. I was a loyal customer of theirs for over 7 years. After my pet died I tried to cancel my wellness plan. Of course they could not process this basic request so I had to call their corporate office. They told me I would be charged over $500 to cancel my plan. I am billed monthly and have never missed a payment. What a disgraceful company to take advantage of their customers in times of grief.

I was hesitant to go here knowing they're a chain, but after having a poor experience at a smaller/local vet I tried it out. SO glad we did. This has been my dog's vet for several years and I recommend it to everyone. Even when I've moved I drive out of my way to continue coming here. The wellness plans are a great deal, we do the one that includes an annual dental, checkups, and bloodwork and again so grateful to have done that as it let us catch his kidney disease very early on and with their support it is under great control and his levels have reduced almost back to "normal" levels which is amazing! We've had a few emergencies over the years (a catch scratch to the eye, a dog bite, and a dental abscess) and even though they are not an emergency vet, when he needed care during their normal business hours they have always been willing to work with us to see him which is amazing as then my dog has a consistent care team who is informed on all his quirks and health information. On the one instance an accident happened outside of their hours, the app makes it SOOOO easy to share his documents with another vet.

Wellness optimum plan (plus for my cat as she has dental issues) is a great option! This location especially is attentive to your pets and despite coming in for a visit with multiple issues, they handled all of them on the same hour of the appointment. My cat was seen by Dr. Bickers and she was wonderful. Staff was also pleasant! This is a building for banfield alone and it is not located inside Petsmart.

The Upper Arlington branch is our fav. They ate polite non judgemental and always up to date on the services our dogs (4)need.
