***This was for a new patient drop off appointment. We have a very old man pup who is 20 years old. We needed to get him seen but didn't have a whole lot of money, as a lot of people don't right now. We called before making an appointment and the person we spoke to was very nice and told us it would be $72 for a drop off appointment, so we made the appointment. Now, when we went to drop him off the person we spoke to said it would be $72 for the exam, but that they also charge a $37 fee for "hospital team care" which the person said was really just for blankets and water because he would be there for a while. This was very upsetting but we had another appointment to get to and ended up going ahead with the appointment because we were also very concerned about the issue he was getting seen for. He was ready for pick up just 1 hour after we dropped him off. Which, a quick appointment was nice, but doesn't make sense to charge a $37 fee for blankets and water for 1 hour. Overall, the customer service (in person) was awful and very unempathetic. They also brought him out to us holding him by the waist alone, no support anywhere else. Won't be going here again.

Subpar. No care or concern for my dog who was scared, trembling and hiding under the bench in the corner from the tech. Not even a friendly hello or little pat. Also, the vets don’t know dog breeds, if your dog has hair and isn’t freshly cut, they mark them as overweight or obese and send you home with a two pager on how to feed and care for your pet. Which is laughable at best and concerning, because my dog is VERY thin and gets daily exercise. I’m not definitely not impressed by the staff, the techs or the vets here anymore.

When my cats have an unplanned issue and I call to get an appointment I am met with un- empathetic employees over the phone. They tell me to go somewhere else even though I am paying them monthly for when stuff like this pops us. It is impossible to get an appointment unless it’s schedule months out. I am paying for a service I am unable to use and is a waste of money.

My dog had been prescribed allergy medicine from my last appointment . She is extremely itchy to the point that she is losing chunks of hair from itching. We did the course of allergy medicine, and since I was unaware that she had refills, I called Banfield to see if there was anything stronger Or if they could refill the script. She let me know we had 3 refills so I was happy about that and let her know to just go ahead and refill it. I mentioned to her that we had a couple of pills left because I gave her a half a pill for the first week instead of a whole pill since I read the directions wrong. You're supposed to give her a whole pill for the first week and then from there on out they can only have half a pill a day. The only thing I did wrong is giving her a little bit less for that first week. And because of this, she refuses to refill her prescription now for us. This just seems ridiculous. I wasn't even aware that we had refills. So either way I would have been a week or two off or late for refilling the prescription. I don't see why that means we can't refill it now? Seems silly. They're just antihistamines.

The worst pet care provided every time. First they signed us up for a year long monthly payment for dog care, then they gave our dog a vaccine that killed the dog. Never asked us if we authorized the vaccine. Dog dies from vaccine reaction and now they want us to keep paying for a plan that is for a dead dog. If you want to keep your pets healthy, find a different vet that cares.
