Banfield Pet Hospital

This is solely about one person there that I wish I’d said something too because he actually pissed me off. I’m not gonna lie I’m not gonna return. I found a coupon online saying the first visit was free so I only had to pay $30 for the shot that my pet needed. The staff were friendly, but when I’m waiting for the vet that was seeing my cat to come back, another guy comes in the room, have not seen him. Have not talk to him at all and immediately he comes in says so I heard “she’s not spayed. She needs to be spayed. She’s gonna get out she’s gonna get pregnant. That’s gonna happen. You need to get this done now.” Which yes I understand the importance of it but it’s also $1000 vet trip. Something I making minimum wage do not have the money for so I don’t need someone coming in telling me to do something instead of talking to me like the adult that I am in a conversation. Not gonna lie I just didn’t know what to say so I just said OK and shrugged at him like that just felt so disrespectful. I feel like if I’m going to a vet I’m paying someone for one treatment. I don’t need someone coming at me like it’s an argument like it’s a debate, about what my pet needs. I do recommend Clearwater animal clinic if anyone has experienced the same issues I took my dog there for her shot and they were so nice to the pet AND the owner.

I’m so glad that I went to this Banfield Pet Hospital. The staff truly care about your pets health and well being. It was my first time there and they found a wellness plan perfect for my cat. It is affordable and covers a lot. Dr. Sanwald and Cheyenne were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who wants the best for their pet.

Scheduled online for an In Room appt at 12:30. Came in 5 mins prior, waited for assistance for 10 mins. After providing the needed info and the Free first visit coupon I was informed they don’t do In Room visits until after 2pm. The Lady put me in a room to fill out paperwork while checking in another appt. While in the room, the vet was on the other side of the second door, loudly upset about online new patient appointments between 12-1pm and how he’s going to put his foot down and start denying them. He also got upset at the lady checking in clients, saying not to check anyone in if they aren’t doing a blood screening. Then continuing with ‘no appts at lunch time’. Not only would I have to leave my pet with these ppl for an hour or more after selecting In Room visit. The paperwork stated I’d be charged for flea medication, and the vet wanting to do a blood screening (addtl charge). I went in with the mindset of utilizing the free visit to see where my cat is health-wise and wanting to schedule a secondary appt for all the preventative needs. Now, I’ll never take my pet to a Banfield, sorry clients are such an inconvenience ESPECIALLY when they scheduled through your website for an appt. Maybe contact your corporate office and put that energy toward them, not passive aggressively toward new clients. No wonder they have a Free Visit coupon 🤦🏻‍♀️

If I could give one million stars i would. The staff is truly caring and knowledgeable, and the doctor was able to shed light on a chronic inflammatory condition that my baby, June (my cat), has been suffering from going on four years that resulted in much better management of her symptoms. She's like a kitten again, and I have had her at specialists. For anyone who wants the very best for their furry children, please see your friends at Banfield first. You won't go anywhere else!

Everyone is amazing! They made all my dogs feel safe and comfortable. When my pup was sick they saw him right away the same day. I highly recommend bringing your pups here if you want great service
