I Set up an appt to have dogs nails trimmed at the grooming salon but upon setting an appt on the phone i was never asked about his heart condition, therefore i was not able to be serviced upon arrival which isn't a problem. The problem is i was told to wait for a tech to come and assist and when i asked a lady for a time frame, i was responded to pretty rudely and was not given an actual time frame just that they are short staffed. Being short-staffed happens i would've just rescheduled but not responding is straight out rude.

Banfield Pet Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Cypress, Texas, and the surrounding areas seeking a "Pet Hospital" for their animal companions, Banfield Pet Hospital, situated at 25829 US-290, offers a local veterinary care option. They can be contacted at (281) 256-8715 or via their mobile phone at +1 281-256-8715.
Based on the limited information available from recent customer reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment at this specific Banfield Pet Hospital location. One review describes an attempt to utilize the grooming salon for a nail trim, indicating the presence of such a service within the facility. However, this visit did not proceed due to the dog's undisclosed heart condition. The review also mentions a perceived lack of attentiveness and a rude response from a staff member regarding wait times due to being short-staffed. This suggests that while certain services like grooming might be offered, the overall operational environment could be experiencing staffing challenges that impact customer service.
The services offered at Banfield Pet Hospital generally encompass a range of veterinary care for pets. Typically, Banfield locations provide services such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, and treatment for illnesses and injuries. Some locations may also offer grooming services, as indicated by one of the reviews. However, one customer's experience highlights a potential communication gap between different service areas within the hospital, as the grooming appointment was set without inquiring about the pet's pre-existing health conditions. Another review details a frustrating experience where the pet owner did not directly interact with the veterinarian, instead communicating through a vet tech acting as a messenger. This resulted in the prescribed medication being ineffective, necessitating a visit to another veterinary practice. This suggests that while standard veterinary services are likely offered, the quality and delivery of these services, particularly in terms of direct veterinarian interaction and effective treatment, may vary.
Features of Banfield Pet Hospitals often include their presence within or in close proximity to PetSmart retail locations, offering convenience for pet owners who utilize both services. They also frequently offer wellness plans that bundle preventative care services for a monthly fee. However, the provided customer reviews do not specifically mention these features in relation to this particular Cypress location. Instead, the reviews highlight potential areas for improvement. The lack of initial inquiry about a pet's health condition before a grooming appointment suggests a possible gap in their intake procedures or communication protocols. The experience of the pet owner who did not see the vet directly and received ineffective treatment points to a potential issue with veterinarian availability or the standard consultation process at this location. The reported rudeness from a staff member further detracts from the overall customer experience.
Promotional information is absent from the provided text. Without any specific details on current promotions or unique offerings for this Cypress location, it is impossible to comment on their promotional strategies. Typically, Banfield as a national chain does promote their wellness plans and may have seasonal offers. Local promotions for this specific hospital are not mentioned in the given reviews.
For local users searching for a "Pet Hospital" in Cypress, TX, Banfield Pet Hospital at 25829 US-290 is a geographically relevant option. However, the recent customer feedback provides a mixed perspective. While the availability of services like grooming is indicated, the reviews also raise concerns about communication, staff attentiveness, and the effectiveness of veterinary consultation and treatment. The negative experiences shared by these customers should be taken into consideration by potential new clients. It would be advisable for pet owners considering Banfield Pet Hospital in Cypress to inquire specifically about their consultation process, the direct involvement of veterinarians in examinations, and their communication protocols to ensure their pet's needs are adequately met. The reported issues with staff responsiveness and treatment efficacy suggest that prospective clients may want to seek further information or consider other local veterinary options to ensure comprehensive and satisfactory care for their animals.
In conclusion, Banfield Pet Hospital in Cypress, TX, is a local "Pet Hospital" providing veterinary services, potentially including grooming. However, recent customer reviews indicate potential challenges related to communication, staff courtesy, and the effectiveness of veterinary care delivery. Local pet owners searching for a "Pet Hospital Near Me" should be aware of these reported experiences and may want to seek additional information or consider alternative options to ensure their pets receive the highest quality care.

Feb 01, 2025 · Ivana RivasNever even saw the vet. The tech was nice and patient but I had questions and the vet tech was like a back and forth messenger, it was frustrating, could've saved time if they would have just came in. Dog had a skin issue and I was given meds that didn't won't. Had to take pet elsewhere
Dec 31, 2024 · Roxane GarciaMy dog became ill right before Hurricane Beryl, so after it was safe to drive, I visited this location for the first time. I was very satisfied with the customer service from check-in to meeting with the vet and checking out. I was surprised to read negative reviews about this place because my experience with Caroline, Wyatt, and Dr. Ali was fantastic. I left with all the answers and next steps I needed. I am super grateful for this team’s professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service!
Jul 11, 2024 · Ivan Duran PuenteMy daughter took her senior dog for exam. Her lab work came back that she has bad case of UTI. Dog is suffering and in pain but they will not give her antibiotics because vet is out of office until Friday. So asked to talk to another vet about prescription for her. They informed us that is not possible without another vet exam her. So basically we have to pay for another visit for them to give her antibiotics. They say they care about out pets well being but they don't. They just want to nickel and dime you to death and let your pets suffer
Aug 28, 2024 · Debbie KimI take all my fur babies to Dr. Flores. I have gone to other Banfield locations and seen other Dr's but none have provided me the service that Dr. Flores does. He is kind, patient and seems very compassionate and never makes me feel rushed. Thank you Dr. Flores for the great care you've provided me and my family with our pups.
