When you check in someone comes to check your pets vitals to see how serious the case is, so you are helped right away. After that I had to wait a long time, but there were so many severe cases coming in I didn't mind. It was hard not to cry with those waiting. Everyone was so worried about their pets. They have an outdoor area you can utilize as you wait, so I took my cat outside and let her walk on the leash. They also have snacks and a coffee machine that makes really good lattes, espresso, hot chocolate, etc. They also have a fancy water machine where you can get sparkling and flavored water. Most people don't feel like eating or drinking when they are worried, but it is a nice touch, especially if you have to wait a while. I think there was a TV near it as well but I was sitting on the other side. It may have been an area for children I didn't look. Even though I waited a long time the staff kept thanking me for my patience, which I thought was nice, even the vet herself was really happy I was patient. Maybe people have been hostile about waiting before. The staff works hard and never stops moving so it is important to be kind and patient. I told my vet I didn't have much money but I was really worried about my cat because she seemed to be bleeding alot from her "other end". The vet was very real with me and explained everything it could possibly be, but also explained why she thought it wasn't certain things because my cat had no other symptoms. She explained i could get xrays but it would be atleast 350, on top of whatever i had to pay for the visit. I got a worried look on my face so she further encouraged that I only needed to do that if I felt it was necessary and my cat did not have more symptoms, it would be more of a precaution than anything. I ended up not getting the xray and only payed 172$ because they gave her some dewormer just incase and something else I forgot.... but i think it was something to calm get down because they think her illness was stress related. After my great experience with the vet and other staff they have someone else go over the discharge papers so you are completely reassured and know how to further care for your pet as they recover. There was one family that had me crying in the waiting room with them. They were very worried about a kitten they had adopted. They took the kitten back for vitals and everything was okay, they family started crying tears of joy, the children started bawling as well as the dad. Since all they did was check the cat and everything was fine they did not charge the family, and I also thought that was very sweet.

I’ve been a Banfield Customer for years with several pets. Sometimes I have a problem getting to an appointment but never are they difficult about rescheduling. This is very important to me because I have eye issues that flare at times and I can’t see to drive. They are understanding and never give me problems! Their service is always great! Even though my dog doesn’t care for them as much!

Their monthly payment plans are more affordable for my animals, compared to most other traditional vets. The cost of certain check ups, procedures, and surgeries are covered under the plan we're on vs some traditional vets want to charge you $100+ before they ever see or draw blood, then they might charge even more. Great so far.

Banfield takes good care of my Chihuahua ( long hair) Batman very well. Only thing I wish the price for the wellness didn’t go up especially since so much is going up. It can be tough me paying the monthly fees. Other than that they definitely have great customer service and you want regret leaving your pet in their care!

Banfield Pet Hospital's staff is AWESOME!! My husband and I are very pleased with how the doctor and staff took care of our pet puppy, Gunny. All of our questions were answered. We will be taking Gunny there for all his needs. I highly recommend this Hospital to anyone who is a pet owner.
