Dr. Wood is unprofessional. Upon drop off at 7am, I was informed by front office staff that the Veterinarian will call once my dog was evaluated. Around 10am, I received a call about how much the visit would cost. I requested a call from the Veterinarian since I would not be there to pick up my dog for another 6 hours. Dr. Wood never called. Once I arrived to pick up my dog, I explained how I would have appreciated a call regarding the status of my dog’s care. Dr. Wood stated she had a lot of patients and just didn’t make it around to calling me. I suggested an option could be that she inform her front desk staff that she is swamped and to let the pet parents know they won’t receive a call. She then asked if I want to know what happened with my dog or not. Common courtesy is lost with Dr. Wood. She is unprofessional and cold. The front office staff were nice and professional.

Nov 08, 2024 · Erica LoweryI was traveling for work and found a puppy hit by a car. They were the only ones willing to take in a new client on a Saturday. Helped me diagnose everything right away and she’s currently resting back home in FL
Dec 22, 2024 · Brandon MattsonI love the springwoods team! They make me feel like family and any of mt concerns are valid. So happy Dr Van DeSteene is back and keeping the team motivated.
Dec 19, 2024 · Katie SweeneyI brought my 4 month old puppy in for a physical exam and Rabies vaccine. I was not informed prior to the appointment that I would have to drop her off and pick her up 3-4 hours later. This was not at all what I had planned for, but they did help to accommodate a quicker appointment, since a drop off was not going to work for me. However, the tech was rough with my puppy, didn't allow me to go back with her, and when they brought her back she seemed traumatized. I have brought her to other Veterinary offices before, and she was always fine afterwards. Today, she was trembling, and literally burrowing into me. This is not normal, and I feel like they mistreated my poor puppy. On top of that, the tech was very short, didn't say much, and literally handed me my dog like she was a loaf of bread. I don't recommend going to this place if you love your animals. Something is off.
Jun 11, 2024 · Krystal AlbrightI’m so grateful they were able to get my sweet Daisy girl in last minute. I truly appreciate how caring and thoughtful Dr. Van De Steene was and the staff too.
