Banfield Pet Hospital

We love this Banfield and all of the staff that make our baby feel warm and welcome. We’ve been taking our boxer Beowulf here for a little over a month now, and everyone has been helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Beowulf doesn’t get scared to go to the vet when we come here, he gets excited to see some of his new favorite people! This is very important to us because a lot of vets will make you feel like just another pet parent and not remember your dog from the last time they were there, but everyone knows Beowulf by name, greets him with excitement, and plays and gives him pets. This is so crucial when finding a vet because you want to know the people in charge of their care love them as much as you do. Dr. Rooney has been with us every step of the way through this journey of finding out what has been wrong with our Beowulf, and she always takes her time with each appointment to find the underlying issue or to try something new. She is absolutely exceptional and truly cares about the animals and making sure they are healthy. We love the front desk staff and the technicians (Tina). We couldn’t thank them enough for making Beowulf feel loved and cared for every time we come.

Banfield takes very good 👍 care of our little guy. Vets and tech are very through and knowledgeable and communicate well with us . Also use the grooming service. They are to notch . Wayne B.

We’ve been going to this location for roughly 2 years now, and they’ve always been incredibly kind and helpful to us. The staff, from the front desks to the doctors, are fantastic. The team at the Banfield in Ocala (inside Petsmart) are a great help to caring for our cat. When things need remembered, they frequently provide notes to us, and they answer all questions during a visit. They are very helpful, and provide needed assistance to pets in need. Thanks!

My dog came here and they said he was ok and gave me a body wash for his itchy paws , I was convinced to sign up for their “optimum wellness plan” and noticed I wasn’t being charged for two months, I go and check online and it’s a card I have never seen before. Almost went 3 months without paying it simply because the cashier for some reason put a whole different card number and card info. I don’t understand why she did this maybe because I gave her two cards one for the initial payment and one for the subscription . I don’t know but please check online to confirm they attach the correct cards before they send you to collections

This is the most disturbing "business" if you want to call it that I have ever dealt with in my life. The staff and doctors are uneducated at best and have zero knowledge of what is going on within their own jobs, regulations, and probably lives. I had called several times and attended two appointments to only be sent home for my dogs international pet's certification. I had made it very clear several times of my personal situation, plans, and even personal information pertaining to why I need expedition, which by the way is NONE of their business to ask in the first place, and still was misguided. Their knowledge contradicts everything the USDA advises. I would NEVER send my worst enemy here. Go to Fox Creek or WEC for any treatment, international services, unless you want to be ill asvised by the ill-equipped. I guess a pun was intended when they named it "BAN" "FIELD," because they should be banned from this field. They shouldn't have a business.
