I brought my cat Winnie in for an exam on 2/18 due to her having urination issues, my concern was uti and wanted to get her tested and medicated. Kirsten at the front desk was wonderful, helpful, and very kind. I am unsure the name of the woman who took me back but she was the complete opposite. Extremely short, uninterested, and uninformative. I was told they would be keeping Winnie for a couple hours in hopes of getting a urine sample but they would call to keep me updated. I went home and waited 6 hours until 30 minutes before close when I called THEM asking what was going on. They informed me that they have been unable to get a urine sample from Winnie and I was welcome to come and pick her up at this point. I go straight there, the same woman who took us to the exam room earlier comes out and starts trying to explain the medication. In the middle of explaining one of the medications to me she says “Actually, I’m unsure about this medication and I will have Dr. Cahill explain it to you.” My interaction with Dr. Cahill was perfectly fine, she was very informative and kind. Upon arriving home, I took Winnie out of the kennel that I brought her in, and she looked like this…1/2

very unprofessional business. every time I come to service my puppies it is always unpleasant workers. front desk clerk was eating a sandwich while trying to speak. there is never an acknowledgment of a customer’s presence. if to you that dosent matter i understand. but please understand they will try to up charge you in anything they can while you are paying for a monthly care already!!! after kindly asking to cancel both my puppies care one of the clerks made smirky comment you will have to pay because you used our services prior and if you dont you will go to collections. i was shocked of that remark. i never leave negative reviews or reviews to be upfront. but this has to be seen. please management do better!!

I took my dog Otis to Cedar Hills location for regular check up and my dog had been limping and showed signs with pain so i requested to have x-rays taken but when my husband went to go pick up the dog staff told him Otis did not need x-rays. I took him to Tigard location since it's a bigger office and i wanted a second opinion and after x-rays they suspected IVDD. I am deeply disappointed in how services, check ups are being done here at Banfield. If i had not taken my dog in for second opinion at a different location his condition would have gotten worse without knowing why. I went to banfield thinking my dog was in good hands who have so much compassion towards animals and now I cant help but to think the opposite. I am sure there are kind, passionate doctors who work for banfield but overall my experience was not good. I purchased the wellness plan as well but I cant even cancel without paying penalty fee even though i am unhappy with services because the plan is based on annual agreement and I did not know about it when i signed up until i called to cancel today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BANFIELD AT ALL.

My experience was similar to the other posts here. Issues with scheduling in-room appointments and cleanliness. 1. My dog was booked for an in-room appointment using their online booking for her first appointment with them EVER. They called to confirm a drop off appointment and I laughed in their face. They have to be crazy if they think I'm dropping off my dog with strangers on the first appointment. 2. The place didn't seem overly dirty at first, but then while waiting, I noticed fleas all over me. I understand this is a vet, but I have NEVER seen it like this in any vet before. I'm tempted to see if they are in violation of health laws and report them. On the up side they did identify my dogs minor ear infection which I suspected and my previous vet missed. Not sure I would use this location again, have heard much better about other locations.
