Following the unfortunate loss of my dog under their care, I am extremely dissatisfied with Banfield's services. Despite my dog's passing seven months ago, I continue to pay monthly dues. Furthermore, I believe a more proactive approach from their veterinary staff could have prevented this tragedy. Subsequently, my other dog received inadequate care for a pre-existing condition, necessitating two costly emergency visits to hospital before appropriate treatment was finally administered elsewhere. This experience has left me profoundly frustrated and disappointed with Banfield's substandard level of care, and I will not be utilizing their services again. I expect a perfunctory response suggesting I contact their Client Advocate Team; however, I am uninterested in pursuing this matter further. My dog has passed away, and my remaining dog is now receiving appropriate care elsewhere following two costly veterinary hospitalizations. Unless they offer a reimbursement for the aforementioned expenses, I will not be contacting them.

Dr Harrod does not care about pets- only having pet owners spend extra money on top of the wellness plan. Dr is refusing typical medicine our pet has unless we pay $100 for a test- a test never required/reviewed in the past to receive medication. Very upsetting.

I prepaid for a surgery for my doggy last year. They told me to wait for it to actually get worse. We did. And now they won't do the surgery and won't give back my $2500 I paid last year. Worar place ever. Not coming back.

I brought my dog Hercules in for really bad arthritis and when I picked him up 6hours later from dropping him off, he got sick the next day and got a kidney infection some how. I know he pry go the infection from a dirty catheter they used on him cause he’s never had that or acted the way he did until I took him to ban field. Few days later he isn’t eating or drinking water anymore a can barely walk. Took him to arise emergency vet in queen creek and they found a tumor mass that was bleeding on the inside on his stomach. 4-5 days pass and I had to go put my fur baby/son down because he was so red and swollen an dying from bleeding out on the inside . I hate to say it but this only happened because he went to ban field vet in queen creek and he went down hill from there. I don’t care what anyone says I know my dog and saw it happen to him personally. All they wanted at ban field was money and to give him medicine a not actually fix him. I’ll never forgive Ban field for this. Expect a law suit soon. An no I don’t want to contact you and explain anything to you.

Worst customer service ever!! The Queen Creek location is always understaffed and makes u wait at least an hour every appointment. This week, we just needed a medication refill which somehow came to almost $400, took over 2 hours of waiting & then, we were just rushed off without the vet bothering to come out & answer our many questions. I had to request a copy of what was done at the appointment only to learn some of my dogs blood levels are elevated. I wanted to discuss alternatives to this very expensive allergy medicine. I was told - "sorry the vet is too busy and on the phone". I paid alot of money to be rushed off confused, upset and still needing vet help!!! I am not happy that the vet tech renewed this expensive monthly Banfield plan when I expressed I did NOT want to waste the money!! I have been coming to this hospital for over 10 years but the service has declined terribly. My dog is actually afraid of the vet visits now and physically gets ill. They are so rude, non compassionate to our dog s needs and charge several hundred without any explanation!! It was such a terrible experience for myself, husband and poor dog, that we don't want to go back let alone pay monthly for a service with little available appointments and the worse dog care ever.
