We had the optimum premium plan. Took our pooch there a week and half ago with complaints and a request for labs. They didn’t do labs. They only administered allergy shot and anal gland expressing. Symptoms persist so we had no choice but to emergency vet. Pooch has cirrhosis which could’ve been treated had banfield done labs and diagnosed. Y’all have killed my pet. SHAME on your lazy veterinarians who your customers NEVER GET TO SPEAK TO and only techs. Just a trash company that really doesn’t care about pets. Your techs are lovely - especially Christine. Your DVM Vets should be embarrassed of themselves for never speaking to pet owners. Trash.

This Banfield is the worse of the worse. They don't pay attention to details. When I dropped off my baby I was really clear on why I scheduled an appointment, 7.5 hours later when I went to pick up my baby I was asked again if I approved the procedure that I already approved by phone. It's a huge red flag that they're just opened for business and only have bad reviews. Take your babies somewhere else

If i could leave negative stars I would. i’ve seen other people leave similar reviews, but I figured I’d add my two cents as well. I set an appointment for 10:45 AM for a regular routine check up for my cat. This should’ve taken no more than 20 to 30 minutes. I asked the lady when I should come back and she said that they would give me a call. Hours had gone by and I never received a call back and at this point it was about 5:30 and they closed at 6. I tried calling to see if my cat was ready for pick up and they never answered the phone. I went to make sure that they did not close with my cat still in the back. when I arrived, the lobby was full of people waiting for either medication or their animal. As I’m waiting my turn more people arrive after me while I am continuously waiting and waiting for my cat to come out and she never does. People who came in after me got their dog first and this really frustrated me because I ended up leaving until 45 minutes after close time, i was the LAST person to get their animal back. there was no communication regarding the status of my animal or her place in line the entire day. I wasn’t even supposed to be at this location. I had an appointment at the Largo location and they called me THREE minutes before my appointment time telling me that the Largo location was closed and I should come to this location instead, just completely unprofessional. my cat is a rescue and I can’t even imagine how stressful this whole experience must’ve been for her. I don’t understand the point of making an appointment if she’s just gonna be waiting around all day. I feel as though they should manage their time better so that everyone who has an appointment gets seen at their appointment time instead of being put in a predicament such as this. I do not work there so I don’t understand why this happened all I know is that I will never be returning here again.

Customer service and communication zero. New location. Informed to drop my pet off at 8am for dental cleaning. Normal procedure, call location around 2pm. Only to be informed tha het hadn’t even been seen yet for the cleaning. That’s 7 hrs! Zero communication to contact me to say anything. If I hadn’t called would not have known. This is normally a 3-4 hr process. If you know it’s gonna be longer inform your customers. If you overbooked the day INFORM your customers. Just for the simple courtesy and knowing people have jobs kids etc. no reason that a simple dental cleaning should take up my entire day and interfere with me picking up my child. With no recognition of consuming your customer’s entire day. And then at the close of picking my pet up, did not ask for payment and then called hour after I have left. Poor poor experience. This is suppose to be the new go to location for this area. Service not up to par. Will never revisit. Rather drive an hour away to the Banfield in Olney Md than 10 min from my house. Disappointed

Terrible service and miscommunication. Booked a drop off and the male at the front desk was no help and said I would have to stay in person to complete the appointment I booked prior. Very inconvenient and frustrating.
