Banfield Pet Hospital

This morning (1/4/25) I called to speak with a Tech to schedule an appointment for pet/dog. I was not greeted and I was placed on hold for thirty minutes. I was surprised! I have been bringing my pets to this location for over five years. I have never had this experience. My calls and visits have been pleasant. Upon speaking to "someone" , I was placed on HOLD again for an additional five minutes. After three attempts, I eventually spoke with someone who responded to my concerns for my pet. The irony this as well is my pet received care at this location a week earlier. In addition, days prior to 1/4/25, I called numerous times and my calls were not picked up; as well as, I left a voicemail. No response either. What a way to start the New Year. Disappointed!

Updated - I wrote to the email suggested in the reply to my review and none answered yet. Not recommended. While the medical staff is quite pleasant and prepared, the administration and management is very poor. The Banfield monthly plan is horrible in case of death or departure of the animal with basically no benefits from having enrolled into it!!!!

This vet has extremely long wait times, smells terrible, needs a solid clean and is very chaotic. I’ve been to many banfields in different states, and none of them have been as dirty as this one. The exam table had a bunch of fur on it. When we walked in it was not clean from the previous patient. I felt like I needed to shower after my appointment and washed all my clothes when I got home. I will be going to a different location that’s further away going forward. Update- I sent an email in response to the reply to this comment and the following day received a call from the site manager, John, I appreciate the follow up and I hope that positive changes can be implemented at this location in the near future. I wasn’t very pleased with my experience at this Banfield location. The greeting staff at the front was friendly and informative, but generally there seems to be a communication issue at this location. They never called me to tell me my pet was ready to pick up (I had to call them because it was 30 minutes til closing). When I arrived the vet assistant handed me my cat and her paperwork with no explanation because she thought the vet had spoken with me. When the vet finally came out to talk to me, she seemed to be trying to get out of the conversation the whole time. She couldn’t (or wouldn’t) answer my questions about the severity of my cat’s gingivitis (I literally learned more from a google search), didn’t look me in the face, and kept trying to step away without addressing my questions. It felt like the vet in at the time of my visit didn’t want to talk to me, and since she didn’t know anything that isn’t obvious about my cat’s condition, the whole visit felt like a waste of time. I won’t be returning to this location.

They take such good care of my 2 dogs. We've been coming to this place for 4 yrs and they're always nice and accommodating. It's also affordable.
