Banfield Pet Hospital

Thank you Alex for taking care of us this morning. I am thrilled to have an appointment that will not go over the due date for her shots. This location is wonderful and I will recommend Banfield Pet Hospital - Landstown, to everyone!

I can’t say enough good things about the Banfield Landstown Team! I will forever bring all my pets there and ONLY there, including future pets. I love ALL 4 Veterinarians! Dr. Clark and Dr. Smith have been the only ones that can do a blood draw for one of my dogs who is a difficult stick. They’re all so patient, loving and kind. They truly love your pet as their own. Not to mention all the vet assistants, vet techs and front desk staff that help keep the hospital functioning. I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for my pets. I’ve referred multiple people to switch locations and they all will not go to any other locations now. The vets are thorough!

Super disappointed with this location. Last year we took our mini schnauzer to get her teeth cleaned, they do blood work to make sure all her organs are functioning properly. When her kidney levels weren’t great the put us on some special food and told us to try again in a month. The next blood panel was about the same and they weren’t able to do her teeth cleaning (understandably). Fast forward 4 months later, I’ve taken her to the Banfield in Chesapeake and they told me it was labeled in her chart she has renal failure!! This was never even discussed with us at this location. We never saw the actual Vet, only the front desk workers. I just can’t even believe they failed to mention this when her blood work was coming back like that. I do not recommend this location at all.

I’m just leaving this review as a head’s up. I generally like them, like the plan, and like the staff. Just an fyi though the canine flu vaccine is $88. It was sold to me as $44 and she just needed to come back for the booster. I specifically asked how much the vaccine was and they said $44. Got a surprise additional $44 charge for the second shot. I dumbly thought the $44 included the booster since it’s required for it to work. When someone asks how much a vaccine is, that requires a booster, please tell them the whole amount. Some of us are on a tight budget! Just don’t want anyone else to be surprised!

When my cat was a kitten I started at this location. The wellness play that is offered is great to cover all the things kittens need. I still have the plan (cancelling soon after 6 yrs), but had to switch from this location. The customer service isn't great. They seem to cycle through employees, including doctors. I have more frustrating calls with this location than the other Banfields.
