I can't recommend Banfield enough, and this particular location has been nothing short of amazing! When I got my first puppy, a neighbor recommended this Banfield for their excellent puppy wellness package, and I'm so glad I followed that advice. After nearly a year of visits, I can confidently say that every experience here has been positive. The staff is always warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. My puppy gets excited every time we head to the vet, which speaks volumes about the care and attention she receives, even when I'm not around. The whole team always greets us with smiles, and it's clear they genuinely enjoy what they do. Their online portal makes everything from scheduling appointments to viewing records and planning next steps super easy. Most recently, my puppy had a spay procedure here, and I couldn't be happier with how smoothly everything went. The incision healed beautifully, and I appreciated how responsive and helpful the team was when I had follow-up questions. Overall, I am beyond satisfied with the care and service at this location. I have nothing but positive things to say!

They were very helpful determining the age and sex of my new-found kitten and answered all my questions. So far, inching the health plan purchase is a good deal.

recently brought my dog, Gunner, to this placefor an appointment to address potential seizures and other health concerns. Unfortunately, the experience was not what I expected. My partner, who has used this clinic before with his dog, felt the visit was rushed and that the examination was not thorough. We left with only seizure medication and no clear answers about what was going on with Gunner. As someone who knows my dog well, I trusted my instincts and sought a second opinion at another veterinary clinic. To my surprise, the second vet discovered that Gunner had an infected tooth and a painful mass in his ear—serious health issues that were completely missed during his visit to Benefield . I was frustrated and disappointed that these major concerns were overlooked, especially after spending a significant amount of money at your clinic, only to have to go elsewhere for proper care. Given the nature of the conditions and the fact that they were missed, I’m left wondering how such important issues were not identified. After this experience, I feel let down by the care Gunner received, and I’m unsure if I can trust this place with his future health. I’ve reached out to request a call from a manager to discuss this further, as I feel a refund may be appropriate due to the oversight but was told she was in a meeting then “leaving for another meeting” clearly did not want to talk to me. I’m sharing my experience here so that other pet owners can make informed decisions. I would not want anyone else to face the same disappointment. Please choose elsewhere for your pet!

Our cat was acting very lethargic and “off” one evening. We called the clinic on Monday night and they said that we could do a drop off the next morning. My wife brought our very sick cat in and had to wait while several people were waiting. Then they gave her a struggle over the fact that we didn’t have an appointment. We had been told the previous day that he could come in anytime between 8 and 10. The office staff challenged her on this. She dropped off our sweet baby. An hour later I got a phone call from the vet and he said, “your cat is dead”. There was a bit of a language barrier and I didn’t understand what he had told me but he kept repeating , “he’s dead”. So shaken by this that I had to hang up and call them again. I spoke with someone else and asked what had happened and all they could do was ask about how we were going to make payment on our baby’s disposal. We chose to go back about 20 min after hearing that our baby had passed to say our last goodbye. The technician brought him in to the room in a black trash bag. I have never dealt with such inhumane treatment. This was a week ago, I’m just now able to put this trauma in to words. The heartbreak that we were feeling was exponentially heightened by the carelessness of the staff. I will be contacting corporate partners.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent visit to Banfield Pet Hospital. Upon arrival, I carried my cat in a soft-sided, cat bag—a decision supported by peer-reviewed studies indicating this method is calming and safer for cats than traditional carriers. Importantly, it also prevents hygiene issues from my cat soiling the carrier out of stress. Shockingly, an employee (Michelle) commented, "We need you to bring her in in a boxed carrier so she's actually safe." This statement is not only factually incorrect, reflecting a disappointing ignorance of updated practices in animal transport, but it was also delivered in a tone that I found to be inexcusably rude. Such remarks from a professional at their place of work are unacceptable. They show a significant lack of empathy and understanding of pet behaviors and welfare. I expect a veterinary practice to be on the forefront of compassionate, informed care, not stuck in outdated methods that compromise pet comfort and owner trust. Due to this experience, I will be reporting this incident to the corporate office.
