Terrible terrible terrible! Banfield has always been great. But when it really mattered they fell short to a heart breaking low. My dog has cancer that's getting really bad, wrapping around her lungs. I was told to come in if she gets worst. Todays she's been puking, falling over, and lethargic so I came in as suggested by the staff! I get there, I wait in the lobby with my dog who's clearly in pain and having a hard time breathing (I can only carry her, that's how bad she is) only to be told that the doctor can't see me. Our dog is family and for you to just say nope sorry go somewhere else while she's obviously suffering in your lobby. What?!?! Not to mention the $300 bill we had to pay at another pet hospital because they didn't take our Banfield pet insurance. Update: I received this message from the "owner" "Hi there – We're so glad to hear you and your pet love coming to visit us at our Waldorf Hospital. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the positive experience you had. 🧡 We hope all is well and look forward to seeing you and your pet at their next visit." You didn't even read it and now we're going to be going to We Care Vet hospital to have her put down because Banfield IS THE WORST. We're definitely switching our other dog somewhere else.

Oct 27, 2024 · wOwzerzkiddiezThe employees seem overworked, underappreciated, and under resourced for a multi million (billion?) dollar corp. Don't waste your $$ here unless you have a puppy or kitten -- it is wise to buy an owp for the first year, but otherwise usually doesn't make sense. Also, the frustration of their lack of availability makes too much sense to not see another vet in town. At least have a back up vet because they're not dependable (or knowledgeable because the corporate medicine model inundates them with too much work s/t they cannot completely attest to your pets health appropriately and with the full attention that is needed. I go to all cats and dogs veterinary in LaPlata instead.
Nov 25, 2024 · Maxx BaumanTerrible!! horrible experience ever as a first time dog owner. If I could give 0 stars I would. They only care about the money avoid Banfield Pet Hospital at all costs
Jan 26, 2025 · Katya Perezeveryone is so amazing and so happy to see my babies I just love Banfield ❤️ keep up the great work Ms Dallas, Gorge and Sam sends their love
Apr 11, 2024 · Sandra HodgeThe vets are thorough and will call you to give you a summary of services performed for that day and the care needed going forward. The Tech assistants are friendly and you can easily detect they love pets - especially dogs. Consider purchasing a "Wellness Healthcare Plan" if your budget allows. You can save a few hundred dollars annually. My fur-baby continues to receive excellent care at this location right beside PetSmart (Waldorf, Maryland). Busy ... intake drop-off wait time average 15-20 minutes.
