Banfield Pet Hospital

We are with Banfield almost 8 years and this is so far the best place. Today we had an appointment with my Neo - 8 years old,imperial shih tzu. Neo is always super stressed and is shaking when we have vet appointments or grooming. Today when he came out after the shots and doctors check up was super calm and was not shaking. The doctor was super nice and patient with us. We arrived 5 min late ( usually if I’m running late I’m calling and letting them know in advance) Was nice even if we were late and I did not had a chance to answer the phone the day before to confirm the appointment. The new place is super clean and it’s definitely better that the old one. The only thing I don’t understand is why doctors are not checking the dogs in front of us as it was before. They used to do the regular checkups and vaccines in the same room with us. For me is important to see what is done and what and how he was checked out. This is my the only concern/question. Other then that I am super happy, satisfied with our plan at Banfield. I love the way they remind us how to better take care of our fur kids. The dental cleaning is an amazing thing to add in your pet’s plan. Since is a new open place I will go ahead and spam you with some pictures😀

I have to say everyone was super. Not only did they put my dog at ease they did the same for me. They were very professional. My dog who was not feeling well and can be kind of skiddish was right at home and left feeling better. Looking forward to taking her there for a very long time. The vet is fantastic. This is a great choice for me and my fur babies. Thank you

My dog was really struggling, I suspected pain but wasn't getting answers from his most recent veterinarian. I gave this location a shot for a second opinion and Dr. Jill caught the issue at his first visit. Two weeks later he is eating again, isolating far less and his tail is up. We're so appreciative and relieved!! I also want to give a shout out to the vet tech Alex who is so kind and patient. Thanks Crystal Lake Team!!

This was our first time at the newer crystal lake office. It seemed like this was the first time they dealt with a larger breed dog. Or dog has never had an issue in the past and only "talks" (even when you rub his stomach). We weren't allowed back with him, but only asked to help muzzle him, which was done with no issue. We understand he can be intimidating to some. Nothing else was mentioned. Only until after we attempted to purchase a wellness plan over the phone for him, since his current one lapsed, we were told that he was aggressive and lunged. He has never lunged at anyone his entire life and is highly suspicious that it wasn't addressed at the time of his visit. The only way this big lug would lunge is if he was provoked. We have cancelled our other pets wellness plans due to the actions of your staff.

This plan has saved me thousands of dollars annually, and it only gets better! All pet owners need this type of service! My Ralley loves this place
