My dog had an appointment on Thursday July 25th. I received a call from the tech the morning of July 25th asking me to reschedule due to multiple surgeries happening on the same day. The tech rescheduled me for Monday visit at 10:30 am. She called on both Saturday and Sunday to confirm the appointment and twice we talked about the appointment being “IN ROOM”. Twice she confirmed it would be fine. I arrived to the hospital ahead of scheduled time and after I was taken to the room the tech came in and said the appointment has to be drop off or it has to be rescheduled. My dog cannot do drop offs. I’ve been telling this to them for 2 years so it’s not news. His ability to handle stress is medically impaired so he cannot be in the cage in foreign place just because it’s easier to do so for the doctors. The tech left then and said she would talk to manager after which I continued to wait aimlessly. If I didn’t come out and ask where she was I would wait who knows how long. The manager was the reception person and simply told me he couldn’t do anything and sent me home. This is total lack of respect for paying customers. I had to take a half day off work to get to the hospital and was sent away despite having a scheduled appointment. On top of that now I have to go back and have to take another half day off. What’s more ridiculous is that they called to confirmed the rescheduled appointment and told me if I was 5 min late the appointment would be rescheduled. Yes, you read that right- 5 minutes! This hospital lacks proper management, they only take people who have surgeries to bank more money and they treat animals as mass herd by pushing drop off appointments on you. Covid is long gone so get your act in order. Side note: they have a note printed out that says: “Cursing and Yelling won’t be tolerated in this establishment” and I wondered why they had to do it. Their service is so bad I’m sure tons of customers loose their mind so that’s a sign they should improve their service. Look elsewhere!

Aug 06, 2024 · Wiktoria BochenskaBy far the worst vet experience I’ve ever had. Took my cat in for a teeth cleaning which they couldn’t do because the anesthesia machine wasn’t working. Only found out 6 hours after drop off because we called them to ask how it went and when we could pick up. The staff left my cat trapped in his carrier the entire day forcing him to pee and poop in his carrier and then sit in it until I could come get him. Complete and utter disregard for my cat’s health and cleanliness. Staff were rude and dismissive about it. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. If you cherish your pets or expect basic human decency from the people who are supposed to be taking care of them, do not bring them to this Banfield location.
Oct 29, 2024 · Max KoganJust an all-around horrible operation that cares more about taking your money than caring for your pet. Twice have I had confirmed appointments where the nurses no-call, no-showed. Additionally, they tried to keep my dog crated for hours when she was just there for a simple vaccination. Today the nurses didn’t show up for a scheduled soft tissue surgery, and then tried to reschedule me on a day that didn’t work for me without even asking about my availability. I had to explain to them that since they messed up my appointment, my dog should get priority in a reschedule. They agreed after some persuasion, but it should never have even gotten to that. If you have even half a brain, you’ll listen to me when I tell you to never step foot near this abomination of a “vet” and I curse this place with the fire of a thousand suns.
Aug 12, 2024 · Emmet McClainI had an appointment for an allergy shot and pedicure for my dog. Everything was fine u till my dog came back bleeding from his nail. (I get it. Sometimes, dogs can bleed from their nails after a pedicure.) I was told by the vet nurse that there is nothing more I can do here in regards to the allergies. Ok. Fine, but I was expecting to speak to the doctor who never showed her face. I waited in the room while the vet nurse walked out the door and left for the day. I asked the front desk lady if we were done here. She said yes. I asked her about allergy options, and she told me to take him to a specialist. I expect the doctor to speak to me at the least to show her face. I felt brushed off and plan to spend my money somewhere else.
Aug 11, 2024 · Wilfredo ColonI wish I didn’t have to leave a star at all. They are very impersonal, rushed, and simply RUDE. Please do not waste your money or time here. They are impossible to get ahold of, will change your appointment without telling you, even when you pull up the Banfield app showing it is for that day, they respond with “sorry. We can’t control the app”. Mind you, the app is the only way to make appointments since you are unable to call them. They “diagnosed” our dog with kidney disease after giving her a perfect bill of health 6 months prior, gave us no information other than changing her food, no guidance on what next steps would look like, and simply didn’t care. I understand they see animals all day, every day, and many times have to give upsetting news, but to not experience an ounce of empathy from anyone on their team, it was baffling. After figuring out for ourselves what next steps looked like (THANK YOU MEDVET!!) which were much different than just changing her food, we had a better understanding of what we were dealing with. Sadly, we lost our sweet girl months later. When we called to cancel our health plan due to our loss, they said we needed to pay for all of the services we used this year OR continue paying each month for the plan until it was up and then WE needed to reach out again to ensure it didn’t auto renew. Again, no empathy whatsoever. We switched to this location after a previous Banfield botched an incision they made and poorly stitching it back together. We had to take our dog to an emergency vet because of it. The previous location did own their mistake and fully refunded us for the “surgery” they performed as well as the emergency vet bill. Clearly a huge mistake on my end thinking this location would be any better. It’s sickening how cold they are. I cannot in good faith not leave a bad review for this “vet” knowing that others may go here thinking they will take care of their animal(s).
