I have been a loyal client at Banfield for three years, investing in their most expensive plan for my dog,but my recent experiences have left me feeling incredibly frustrated. The older blonde woman at the front desk is not only intimidating but also incredibly disrespectful. Her attitude makes it clear that she lacks the customer service skills necessary for a pet care facility. It's disheartening to feel unwelcome, especially when you're trusting someone with your beloved pet. If I can't trust the staff to treat clients with respect, I certainly can't trust them with my dog. I would rather take my business elsewhere, where I can feel confident that my pet will be treated with care and compassion. I highly recommend considering other options for your pet's healthcare needs.

I have had a Banfield membership for more than 10 years and was never so bad treated as I was today over the phone with the front desk (Cassandra is her name). I have two dogs and my appts were 5pm and 5:15pm. She told me I was scheduled to 4 and 4:15 which I am 100% sure it’s not true. I work until 4:30 and would have never scheduled an appt for this time.I even remember my conversation with the front desk the previous day to select the time after 5pm! She said the office was closing at 5pm when google says it closes at 6pm. I asked to speak with the manager and she sais she was the manager. Her name is Cassandra, is she really the manager? If she is, what a terrible manager behavior. Banfield should pay more attention to their manager customer service skills. The way she spoke to me, not listening to what I was saying was unbelievably rude. Go to another Banfield, and avoid Cassandra if you can! I left work early to go to this appt, I gave one of my dogs a medication to calm him down, all for nothing!!! I am cancelling both of my memberships with Banfield today!!!!!!! Answering the Banfield response: Banfield is the one that should reach out and try to resolve this. You have all my information and could reach me easily. Writing a response like that on google is not the way to solve this, just a way to try to look good under the public eye.

The manager and lovely Banfield nurse Riley at the Encinitas PetSmart helped us when we forgot prescription food for our elderly Jack Russell who cannot eat regular food. They were so kind and helpful I thank them for helping us out in an emergency!

Dr. Ryan at Banfield Pet Hospital was the most gentle, kind and informative vet I've ever met. I wanted to have my old dog's eyes runny I checked but the doctor did a thorough examination and validated what I suspected regarding his back legs. He was weak ligaments and arthritis developing in his back legs. So, now I know for sure that I need to get him some ramps so he can get on and off the furniture safely and I will not allow him to run up and down our concrete stairs. As well, his eyes were fine. The running eye was from dryness and old age. I just need to use some saline to rinse his eyes ocasionally. He didn't try to prescribe expensive medications. My visit to Banfield was beyond my expectations.
