Dec 19, 2024 · Alexis BarnesVery expensive. My dog had Goopy eyes and they needed to run a multitude of tests.. $360 later they gave her a cream, said nothing was wrong with her eyes. She now has a permanent scratch on one eyeball from their testing!
Feb 06, 2025 · Michelle Hellebrandupdate: Let me begin with how I really wanted to like Banfield and their Optimum Wellness Plans (OWP). Opting in for 4 Plans for all four of our fur-babies (senior dog and 3 kittens) should have been a positive, but my experience is well below expectations. They certainly lead to many many visits, so I guess I have a valuable insight on how things are here. The constant rotation of veterinarians seems strange to me, I did not like that. The dropping off of my fur-babies for all day stays for a simple vaccination similarly leaves me disliking Banfield. I never once had a vet examine in my presence. I never once saw a vaccination take place. I never once saw the nails trimmed and indeed they were barely noticeable... kitten ears were charged a crazy fee for "cleaning" that again were not... Did anyone clean them? who knows... it's all done in the back. You can expect your pet to be taken away and they expect you to "trust" that they do the thing they say they are doing. They lost my trust. My experience includes - 50/50 good/bad with regards to staff - 50/50 with feeling confident regarding Vet interactions - negative for cleanliness and hygiene at this location - NEGATIVE for price point - negative for the OWPs I can NOT recommend I will be canceling all 4 of our Optimum Wellness Plans at term, because they jack up the billing price and then include it in your plan and I would have to pay the like $2000+ for a dental cleaning (lol) and similarly high cost for x-rays of my senior dog... oh and the silliness that is upselling here... the manipulation for extras charges. Requiring I come in to set up the new/additional OWPs for each kitten calling in literally telling them it's for an OWP (as I have opted in already, existing accounts) then they charge for THOSE visits, not including them in the OWPs, because IT wasn't scheduled BEFORE the Optimum Wellness Plan started (lol) I let those slide (all 4 times) with a little roll of my eyes because I really really wanted this to be a good system. Eight months in and I am fully not seeing ANY value in this system at all. Sigh... additionally my babies all get sick after every single visit here. Very disappointed in quality of animal care / quality of customer care / quality of cleanliness here
Jan 14, 2025 · Melinda ClarkThe actual service from the nurses and doctors at the facility is not too bad. Some doctors are better than others for sure (Dr. Hayes was amazing but left, replaced by less personable doctors). However, the 2 star review is primarily targeted towards their billing department. I needed to cancel my wellness plan but the billing department was extremely rude and quite unhelpful. It shouldn’t be difficult to receive a confirmation number of a cancelled plan and an explanation of the charges rendered and yet Im the one yelled at for asking questions. If this business has any expectation of retaining customers, they should train their staff and billing department better.
