I have been attending this location for 13 years. It used to be great but services have declined in the last few years. The treatment yesterday when we had to put our 12 year old dog to sleep was the final straw. My daughter was in the room while our dog was put to sleep and what she told me afterwards was absolutely appalling. The vet entered the room to administer the euthanasia and didn’t say a word the entire time. A vet tech stayed in the room while he passed, again no compassion whatsoever…after he passed my daughter asked for a few minutes alone. When the tech came back in all that was said was “can I take him now” after leaving the room she was told the amount due and went on her way. She said it felt like a business transaction and no compassion given at all. I won’t be back to Banfield and our other pets upcoming appointment will be canceled. I didn’t list the vets name on here but this isn’t the first time this particular vet has been cold. I will be calling Banfield corporate about this experience as no pet owner should have to experience that.

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Maria, and I am writing to express my deep concern and sadness regarding a recent visit to your hospital with my beloved pet, Lily. Lily was in good health just she was vomiting like some times happened to her when we brought her to your facility, but tragically, she passed away the same night after we picked her up. This has been an incredibly distressing time for us, and we are struggling to understand what happened. We would greatly appreciate any information or explanation regarding her condition during her visit and what might have led to her passing. It feels very strange to us, and we are seeking clarity on this matter. Thank you for your attention to our concerns. We look forward to your prompt response. Unfortunately the Banfield location is lacking. For a regular yearly visit I imagine it would be fine but we came in with an ear infection. Unfortunately, the medication did not work and when we questioned getting a new medication the receptionist said she would send a message to the dr. And get back to us SOON. I decided to call 5 hours later to check in on the status since I had not heard back yet. The assistant on the phone was rude. She was upset that I wanted a call back the same day. She basically insinuated that she could not be bothered to ask the Dr. If there were other options because she was too busy. Needless to say, we will not be back for the vet there.
