Scheduled an appointment days in advance for a simple dewormer prescription. Showed up to the appointment and they brought me an my cat in the room. 5 minutes later they had some sort of extremely under-qualified vet tech come in and ask me questions. She took pictures of my cat’s rear end and took it to the vet to review. She came back and told me the cat would most likely need surgery and basically pawned me off onto a different vet. Ended up waiting at the next vet for 5 hours only to find out that if the vet actually spent 3 minutes examining the cat instead of looking at a blurry picture, they’d know that no surgery is necessary and a DEWORMER is all that is needed. Do NOT go here. They do NOT care about you or your pets.They are expensive, lazy and dangerously wrong.

Just want to thank Dr Huang and her team (Savannah, Megan, Tatiana, etc) for always taking care of Biscuit. He was neutered here, and had a dental surgery to extract his deciduous teeth a year later and both procedures have been excellent and he recovered extremely well. Both were done by Dr Huang. I also want to acknowledge that they always call me the day after his procedures to check on him. I also want to take Dr Prieur for taking care of him when he had elevated liver tests and for listening to me when I asked if his blood test can be checked sooner rather than later to see if his medication is working. He ended up having normal liver test after a week of the medication instead of checking in 3 months! He was then taken off his meds. His subsequent blood tests were normal afterwards. After a whole year of bringing my baby to Banfield on Kirby - I would highly recommend this specific location to those extremely meticulous about their pet’s healthcare needs. A solid 10/10 :) PS - I hope he finally makes it to the Banfield Cuties list lol

First off, the vet tech was amazing—super helpful and kind. However, I ran into some issues with communication at the front desk person that made things pretty frustrating. 1. Scheduling Mix-Up: I originally booked an appointment for 5:30 PM, but when I arrived, I was told the vet couldn’t see my pet. I get that things happen, but it would’ve been helpful to know ahead of time so I didn’t make the trip for nothing. 2. Flea Treatment Confusion: When I picked up my cat after the rescheduled appointment, I was told he had fleas and asked if the clinic could apply flea medication. The front desk person said yes, and I was told to bathe him after 48 hours and reapply prevention in 30 days. After following those instructions, I bathed him only to find tons of fleas still on him. When I called back for clarification, I was told it’s not the clinic’s job to apply flea medication—which is the opposite of what I was told earlier. If I had known this upfront, I could’ve handled it myself right away, but the mixed messages made the whole process confusing and stressful. I truly appreciate the vet tech for helping this little baby I found on the side of the road but because of the horrible communication I will not be returning

The vet on call the day of our appt. Was very nice and professional and took time out to exam and explain everything to me with clarity. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good caring Vet.

I would not take my pet here ever again. Dr. Huang is not helpful at all. I’ve been waiting for a week to get medication approved for an eye ulcer as my dogs eye is literally closed shut. I have called multiple times with no response except “she’s busy”. There is a traveling provider Dr. Jennifer C. that has been very helpful but since Dr. Huang is the main vet at this location. I will never go back.
