To be honest, it was my first time getting vaccines for my two furry cats. The staff were informative and explained everything in detail, both in person, call and via email. Remember, it's always better to ask any questions you have about your pet. Now I feel confident and well-informed about their care.

Banfield Pet Hospital Introduce

Welcome to Banfield Pet Hospital, located at 18820 Hwy 99 in Lynnwood, WA. As part of a nationwide chain of veterinary clinics operating under the umbrella of the 'Pet Hospital' category, Banfield aims to provide a range of medical services for pets. This introduction seeks to offer an objective overview of the Banfield Pet Hospital in Lynnwood, WA, based on the available customer reviews, highlighting aspects of their environment, services, features, and any indications of promotional information, while ensuring a balanced perspective by including both positive and negative feedback.

Based on the limited information in the reviews, specific details about the environment of the Banfield Pet Hospital in Lynnwood are not readily available. However, as a standard veterinary clinic, it would typically include examination rooms, surgical suites, laboratory areas for diagnostic testing, and potentially boarding or recovery spaces for animals undergoing treatment or procedures. The overall environment is expected to be clinical and designed to facilitate the delivery of veterinary medical care. Cleanliness and adherence to hygiene protocols would be paramount in such a setting to ensure the safety and health of the animals.

The services offered at Banfield Pet Hospital in Lynnwood likely encompass a broad spectrum of veterinary care. According to one positive review, the clinic provides vaccinations for pets, and the staff are informative in explaining the procedures and aftercare. This suggests that preventative care, such as vaccinations, is part of their service offerings. The negative review details a surgical procedure (removal of cysts) performed on a dog, indicating that the hospital also provides surgical services. Furthermore, the mention of lab results implies that diagnostic testing is conducted, either on-site or through external laboratories.

The positive review highlights a feature of the service as being informative, with staff explaining details in person, via phone, and through email, particularly in the context of a first-time pet owner seeking vaccinations. This suggests a proactive approach to client education and communication in certain instances. The reviewer felt confident and well-informed about their cats' care after their experience.

However, a significant concern is raised in the negative review regarding the lack of follow-up care and professionalism exhibited by the Lynnwood location. After a dog developed an infection at the suture sites following surgery, this location reportedly refused to see the pet for treatment. The owner had to seek care at a different Banfield location (Bothell), where it was discovered that the Lynnwood hospital had allegedly failed to administer antibiotics post-surgery. This raises serious concerns about the standard of post-operative care provided at the Lynnwood facility.

The negative review further details an alarming experience with a scheduled follow-up appointment for stitch removal and discussion of lab results. Despite having a confirmed appointment, the client was informed upon arrival that they would have to drop off their dog for an extended period and that their appointment would not be "honored." This lack of respect for scheduled appointments and the inconvenience imposed on the pet owner, who was expecting a "quick in and out," points to significant issues with the front desk management and overall customer service at this location.

The inability to speak with the veterinarian who performed the surgery during the follow-up, despite having an actual appointment, further underscores a lack of communication and potentially a disregard for client needs and concerns. The reviewer's overall impression is one of unprofessionalism, a lack of value for the customer and the pet's health, and a distrust of the medical professionals at the Lynnwood Banfield. The recommendation that the front desk staff member should not be in a customer-facing role highlights a severe breakdown in client relations.

Promotional information is not directly mentioned in either of the provided reviews. Banfield Pet Hospitals, as a chain, often offer wellness plans or packages that may include routine checkups, vaccinations, and other preventative care services for a monthly or annual fee. These plans can be a form of promotional offering aimed at encouraging regular veterinary care and providing cost savings for pet owners. However, there is no specific mention of such plans or any other promotions in the context of the Lynnwood location in these reviews. Interested individuals would need to contact the hospital directly or visit their website to inquire about any available wellness plans or promotional offers.

In conclusion, the Banfield Pet Hospital in Lynnwood, WA, operating as a 'Pet Hospital,' presents a mixed picture based on the available customer reviews. While one customer reported a positive experience with informative staff during a vaccination visit, another long-term Banfield customer had a severely negative experience involving alleged lack of post-operative care, refusal to treat an infection, and unprofessional handling of a confirmed follow-up appointment. These conflicting accounts suggest a potential inconsistency in the quality of care and customer service provided at this specific location. Prospective clients should carefully consider these experiences and perhaps seek further information or testimonials before entrusting the care of their pets to this facility. It is recommended to inquire directly about their services, post-operative care protocols, appointment policies, and any available wellness plans or promotions to make an informed decision.

Do not take your pet here! We have been using Banfields for almost 10 years and these past 2 visits were alarming. Our dog had surgery to remove two cysts. The suture areas became infected and this location refused to see us to treat it. We got in to the Bothell location and they said Lynnwood failed to give him any antibiotics. Then we went back for our scheduled follow-up visit to get the stitches removed and talk to the vet about lab results. When we arrived, the woman working the check-in desk said that we would have to drop our dog off and do a drop-off visit and they would no longer "honor" our appointment. Who does that?! We had an appointment and it was confirmed by phone the day before when the Banfield Tech called us. We had to leave our dog for 8hrs and never got to speak with the vet who did the procedure even though we had an ACTUAL appointment and Banfield said it would be "a quick in and out to go over lab results and remove the stitches." I've never seen such unprofessionalism from a Banfield and their staff. This place does not value you as a customer or the health of your pet. I don't trust any of the medical 'professionals' working there, and the woman working the front desk needs a job that's not customer-facing.

First time vet visit for my rescue kittens and I was so pleased with Dr. Ort’s care, and all of the kind employees that work there. Pricing was made clear up front and options for future care. I especially want to thank Janell; She was so warm hearted and welcoming. She took a lot of time expertly answering my questions and was so patient and loving with the fur babies. I am happy and thankful she was there for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I love the vets here. I would suggest getting the dog plan for your dogs. Not for cats, not worth it for cats, you spend more than you save on the cat one. The dog plan is very helpful. Nice receptionist. Fast vet work. Kind vets.
