If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Banfield, and I feel compelled to share my story. I took my dog in December 2024 for a total of two visits, which led to optional x-rays and radiographs after he was experiencing some issues. I decided to go ahead with both tests and paid hundreds of dollars, but I never received a call with the test results or any resolution regarding my dog's health. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out, I either got no answer or was told that the doctor would call me back, which never happened. On February 25, 2025, I called again and was told that the doctor would contact me. Instead, I received a call from Kelsey at the front desk, who claimed the doctor said he had spoken to me multiple times on December 12. This was irrelevant since the tests were conducted on December 14, and I had never spoken to him about the findings. Kelsey informed me that the doctor needed to send the results in for the radiographs, but I was extremely frustrated and let her know that I had taken my dog to another vet in the meantime because his condition had worsened. When I mentioned I would like a refund, Kelsey stated that the tests had already been completed, which only added to my frustration. I insisted on speaking directly with the doctor and requested that he call me back as soon as possible before hanging up. Still waiting on call. Overall, I feel I have been lied to multiple times and have received poor service from start to finish. I spent hundreds of dollars and still have not heard from the actual doctor. I will never take my pet to Banfield again, and I am seeking a refund for the complete mishandling of my dog's care. I strongly advise others to consider their options before choosing this clinic!

It's important to note that the provided reviews present contrasting perspectives on the services and overall experience at this location.
Based on the available customer feedback, the environment at Banfield Pet Hospital in Edina appears to have aspects that elicit both positive and negative reactions. One reviewer described a highly frustrating experience, implying potential issues with communication and follow-up, which could contribute to a negative perception of the clinic's organization and patient management. Conversely, another reviewer had an overwhelmingly positive experience, specifically mentioning the comforting atmosphere created by Dr. Broski for their anxious dog. This suggests that while some aspects of the environment might be conducive to pet comfort, other systemic issues may detract from the overall client experience.
The services offered at Banfield Pet Hospital in Edina, as inferred from the reviews, encompass a range of veterinary care. These include routine wellness visits, as mentioned by the owner of a healthy dog receiving regular care. The hospital also provides diagnostic services, including the use of X-rays and radiographs for investigating pet health issues. Furthermore, the expertise of Dr. Broski in Internal Medicine suggests that the hospital offers specialized care for pets with complex internal medical conditions. The mention of ICU stays at other facilities indicates that Banfield may work in conjunction with or provide aftercare for pets requiring intensive care. However, the negative review raises concerns about the timely delivery of test results and the effectiveness of follow-up communication regarding these services.
Several features of Banfield Pet Hospital in Edina can be gleaned from the customer reviews. A significant positive feature is the presence of dedicated and compassionate professionals like Dr. Broski, who is described as kind, intelligent, caring, and passionate about his work. His ability to make pets feel secure and comfortable, especially those with anxiety, is a notable strength. His specialization in Internal Medicine is also a crucial feature for owners of pets with complex health issues. However, a concerning feature highlighted in the negative review is a lack of effective communication, including failure to return calls, discrepancies in information provided by staff, and delays in delivering diagnostic results. This inconsistency in service quality appears to be a significant point of concern for at least one customer.

Feb 25, 2025 · Jerzee ParkerI can’t express enough about how wonderful Dr. Broski at Edina Banfield is. He’s kind, intelligent, caring, answers all my questions, humble, and you can tell he passionately loves his job and his patients. He makes my dog Custard feel secure and comfortable, and she really loves him and he cares deeply to make sure she is not anxious. That is very important to me personally, to feel my Veterinarian loves my animals through their mannerisms and actions, which he has never failed at doing! She has gone through so much in, and out of the ICU at AERC&Bluepearl, and has some complex health issues, and Dr. Broski is a specialist in Internal Medicine, which is huge for me. My other dog Boo sees him too (she is very healthy and has only needs routine care), but he is just as kind and nurturing to her as well. Won’t trust anyone else as my primary Veterinarian! Thank you Dr. Broski and your sweet staff. We were meant to find you.
Dec 12, 2024 · MelI have used Banfield for my dog for 13 years and have always been very happy with the care and concern of the whole Banfield team (except during the COVID years but to be fair everything was awful at that time). As my dog aged I was a bit concerned about what might happen as more urgent visits might be needed. Those days finally came and Banfield was AMAZING. When it came to Bruce’s final days they got us in right away and were very compassionate. I’m pretty sure the staff even gave up their lunch break to help us. Would highly recommend not only for the value of the wellness plans but all the amazing staff as well.
Mar 02, 2025 · Lynn BrollI have a French Bulldog named Skar, who has been receiving care at Banfield since he was 5 months old. The service is quick, and the attention is incredible. They’re very attentive to the pets and treat them with special care. My dog is always excited and a bit crazy, as he loves people, but they have the patience to handle him perfectly. They’ve always provided solutions to his issues, and they offer a variety of insurance plans depending on what you’re looking for, which is a great option. It would be amazing if they had emergency services, but even without that, it’s still an incredible experience.
Dec 03, 2024 · Maria camila VelaI have had nothing but good experiences at this location. Dr. Pesek is wonderful. He’s so kind and gentle. You can tell he really cares for every pet. I can always get appts same day or within a few days. I like the wellness plans. I think you get a good value for the price. Thank you Banfield (and Dr. Pesek) for taking such good care of our fur babies!
