Banfield Pet Hospital

I have been with banfeild for numerous years now. I have never had an issue prior to my dogs care until recently at this location. First thing- they closed down for the day due to snow even though there was no snow, and the staff canceled all appointments however i never received a phone call leading to us showing up. They allowed my dog to be seen as the only patient of the day however it took two hours and they refused for him to be seen with us. Why couldn’t we stay if we are the only patient of the day? Additionally, they completely ignored the chief medical complaint, resulting in worsening medical condition of my dog over the week writing it off as something else. I reached out to corporate regarding my dogs care at this location. Greenbelt completely botched/ignored my dogs illness, falsified his record, then had the audacity to lie to me on the phone when they got an email from corporate about my complaint. Was then called by the program manager at this location who lied to me about numerous topics about my dogs care & other things that happened. Do not trust this location, avoid at all costs.

I didn’t think the reviews were real until I went in for my cats appointment a lady that spoke Spanish had the biggest attitude and they straight up will tell you with a straight face yeah it’ll be 300 like what? honestly wouldn’t recommend you come here. And if you do hopefully u don’t get that old hag that had the biggest attitude for no reason like don’t work there if you don’t like it.

I have been with Banfield for I want to say 5yrs now. I made an appointment online a week in advance, and took.off work to bring my dog to get vaccinated, I got a call the day before my appointment to say it was canceled! After I already took off. My dog can't be dropped off because she is aggressive around the doctors for some reason and has to get anesthesia, but if your giving a shot to give her anesthesia, y can't u give her a rabies shot, what's the difference? But I think this place is a rip off, and I don't even get all of the services that are offered with my plan, even tho she is sleep when they are doing it. I missed out on work, and money! Shame on this place for being last minute wasting people time.

We love our Banfield team at Greenbelt Md. they are always helpful and very timely keeping us up to date on appointments and shots. Gizmo and Izzi love the team too!

I’ve been coming to Banfield for 4 years bringing my grandpa Bella, we have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. And I’ve developed a great relationship with the doctor and staff. And when I bring Bella she usually little frightened but when she leaves of course she’s happy to see me and she treats your staff like she’s known them forever.
