Most incompetent vet techs I have ever came across in my life. I paid an exam fee and blood work fee. They came back with 0 vitals. They poked my cat 6 times and blew her vein. No blood work was able to be done. What exactly did I pay for? I’m still trying to figure that out. (No it’s not just my cat) she has been seen by mutliple vet techs and never once did they have a problem or require the help of not just one but 4 different vet techs. It really seems like the Highland Banfield will just accept any tech to work for them because I am absolutely appalled at their “professionalism”. I went in with concerns about my cats wellbeing and I left with even more after leaving her in their “care”. What an absolute joke to charge someone for a service that you weren’t able to provide!

We have all three of our cats on the wellness plan at Banfield, and we’ve had a great experience at this particular location. Recently, DJ had a flare up of a skin issue, and I sent a message through the 24/7 vet chat. Banfield Highland called me the next day and asked if I wanted to bring him in. When they saw they missed my call, they called me again and got him in same day! The vets spend a lot of time with you when you get a non-drop off appointment, and the staff is all super friendly. The wellness plan allows for unlimited appointments and bloodwork, which gives me a lot of peace of mind that my boys are okay.

Banfield Highland Park did a great job for my two cats with free first timer exams followed by shots and nail trims. Really loving care. I would definitely take the kitties there again.

I have been coming here for about 3 years. The staff here are so compassionate and understanding of my stray rescues anxiety going to the vet. Cannot say enough positive things about the front desk and vet techs here. The two things I have not been thrilled about; my cat had frequent diagnosed UTIs, and started over grooming her belly. Talked about it to one of the Vets, nothing changed around the house to cause her extra stress. He suggested putting her on anti anxiety meds. I said I would try some more natural solutions first, like cat pheromones. Fast forward several months, she has now been diagnosed (by the same clinic, different vet) with cystitis, and one of the symptoms is over grooming of the belly due to discomfort! I feel terrible my cat went so long being uncomfortable and undiagnosed, and not very happy with the vet who ignored symptoms and just wanted to throw medication at it.

I used Banfield for nearly two years with my cat Cowboy. Cowboy ended up dying from a seizure at a little over a year and a half old. When I called Banfield to tell them my cat, their patient, had died, nobody called me back. They never reached out to me again. I was never charged anything else. I thought it was done. That is, until I got an email from a debt collector saying I owed over $200 on my dead cat's account. The insensitivity and lack of empathy from this office is baffling. When I called the location to try and figure out why I hadn't heard from anyone about this or my outstanding balance, they sent me a corporate number to call. Do not use Banfield. They don't want to help your animal. They want your money. Go to a local vet who actually cares about their patients.
