We had a very good experience with this Banfield location. It was the first time that we have visited a Banfield, and they were able to squeeze us in at the last minute. We had recently adopted a rescue cat, and when we got her home, she became sick. Other vets that I called were at least a week out with open appointments. We went into the store late in the afternoon and spoke with the front desk person, who, despite being very busy, was able to give us an appointment the next day. The visit itself was great, and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Our kitty is doing well now, and we will certainly be using this Banfield for our other pets. To the staff, thank you so much for everything.

This is a professionally run operation, however, they are pricey and when I took my cat in for a thorn in his paw that I could not remove - before anyone even looked at my pet I was taken thru a procedural by a tech who quoted $250 for blood work and $300 for x-ray's. Understanding that's their procedure but I was in shock looking at a bill of possibly over $600 (the above didn't include the vet's fee and office visit) for bringing my cat in for a thorn. Again - that's their process but I will not be going back because the process is VERY impersonal - I never got to see or talk to the vet. They didn't find the thorn and proscribed a return "checkup/followup" which would have been another $100 plus - which I refused. That was a disheartening and unsatisfactory experience that left me with profound sticker shock. Will be going back to my "old fashion" vet where they actually look at the pet and talk to me before quoting big prices.

****please read***f I could give -1,000,000 stars I would. I've been with banfield for almost 30 years. Please, please DO NOT GO HERE or to ANY banfield. My cat was really sick, been going there for 13 years. Long story, very rude, no empathy, cold demeanor. Banfield once was great, the one on Hampton is no better. Please please go to 7210 W. Ray rd. Chandler. Veterinary emergency group. I am still in shock at how empathetic, respectful, kind. And no wait. They also are not about the money, they are about the quality of life with your baby. My sweet Roxy went to the rainbow bridge, it was so nice to go where I felt they loved Roxy as much as I did. It was a shame in her last hours I had to speak to banfield acting like she didn't matter and she would just suffer if I didn't have 800 bucks. Shame on your banfield, but happy in a way as we were able to find our forever place for our other pets, whom deserve the best. It's dang sure not with you.

My dog recently got cut right next to his eye during grooming, so ended up next door with the Banfield pet hospital to get bleeding stopped. They kind of communicated with me, but it was spotty, and I was a mess the whole day. They never called me to pick up my dog, so I ended up just going over there. The front desk was rude. The vet kind of told me what she had already told me on the phone, and told me the nurse would be back with meds for my dog, and would tell me how to use each medication and instructions on how to care for my dog. The nurse handed me my dogs meds, but didn’t really tell me anything about them. She only answered what I asked. I missed one of the medications in the bag, so I had no information about it at all. No idea what it was even for. I also want given any information about care unless I asked. Scheduled a follow up appointment. There were days they didn’t have a vet so I had to wait longer than necessary for my dog’s eye to get looked at. Finally found an appointment time. Well today I went with my dog for his follow up, and apparently there is only one nurse and I need to drop off my dog. I told the front desk that I wasn’t told it was drop off, and all my dog needs is to verify his eye is fine. She went in back and told me I needed to drop off or reschedule. I just ended up leaving with my dog, because the exam seemed unnecessary at that point. The lady next to me waiting also told me she had the same thing happen. She scheduled an appointment, but upon getting there today she was told it was drop off. Super unhappy.

The vet and techs are so awesome here! They have taken great care of my pups since we have had them. When our one baby passed away they were informed since it happened after hours and had to go to the emergency vet, they called us after to check in on us then sent a card to use as well! Wonderful caring and loving! We will always be grateful to them!
