Apr 04, 2025 · Kathy GaglioPhineas has been a patient at Banfield since he was 4 months old. He’s now 15 and Banfield has been so incredibly supportive when dealing with the issues that come with aging. Whether I rush him in unannounced or they’re expecting him for an appointment, the team is awesome. They make time to answer any questions and concerns I have about his care. Most of the staff know Phineas on sight and are very loving and gentle with him. I know that when the time comes to say goodbye, it is inevitable, Banfield will be there to get me through it.(Banfield location, Newark, Delaware)

Dec 19, 2024 · Nancy QuattrociocchiI'm very unhappy and frustrated with Veterinary & Nurse at Banfield in Springfield PA. My pet has been going to this place for 10 years. My last experience was it for me, the nurse was not friendly, she didnt seem like she cared about my dog and more concerned about the service plan, asking if my dog was going to get dental care so if not she would bill this emergency visit as a dental billing code inwhich my dog was not there for dental. I think this is very misleading , I had Banfield plan more than 10 years. Why do they bill for a service that I did not receive for an emergency visit.. The staff didn't appear experienced with any of my concerns that i had concerns with. I had to ask all the questions just to be answered with one word answers, she didn't appear interested. I was left with so many unanswered questioned , I felt all my questions were not answered , all I received was medicine that he was already taken, information about medicine he didn't receive, their no information about my dog blood levels, recommendation. My dog literally went in back for 5 minutes and given back to me in my arm by the Nurse " do you got it" who is IT"? he has a name. and not it! She was.very rude I felt offended. My husband told me not to return and stop my service plan with this company clearly misleading and only concerned about what services are not used in your plan so they can Bill for them not related to what I'm bringing him in for Lastly when I asked the nurse does Banfield have a website where I can access to look up my dog health records she told me.."I don't know, I think so, I mean I don't use it, I mean I did but its not helpful" I then said so can you atleast explain what I need to do, can you provide me with his ID # account, "Just go on Banfield put in his name in and so on," she did not make any sense..she had her hand on the door, door opened to go in the back, irritated face basically in a rush to get away from me & my pet . I felt like I was the Doctor with the questions , the Dr. had no answers for me NOTHING, not sure if she still in training. Yes i felt frustrated when my pet did not receive the care and attention I expected during my pet emergency. I will be looking for another veterinary clinic that align better with my expectations for care and communication and would like to cancel my plan..
