Banfield Pet Hospital Introduce
Welcome to the Banfield Pet Hospital pharmacy, conveniently located within our Pet Hospital at 5501 Capital Blvd Ste 102, Raleigh, NC 27616, USA. As an integral part of Banfield Pet Hospital, our pharmacy provides a seamless experience for obtaining your pet's necessary medications and health-related products. You can reach the main hospital at (919) 872-8622 or our mobile number +1 919-872-8622.
While the primary function of Banfield Pet Hospital is veterinary care, a well-integrated pharmacy is a crucial component, allowing pet owners to easily access prescriptions and other health products recommended by our veterinarians. Based on a positive customer review, the facility is described as "clean, well-organized, and comfortable," which likely extends to the pharmacy area, contributing to a calm atmosphere for both pets and their owners. The friendly and efficient front desk team also plays a role in a smooth experience when picking up prescriptions or discussing medication needs.
The services offered by the Banfield Pet Hospital pharmacy are directly linked to the veterinary care provided. When your pet receives a diagnosis and requires medication, our on-site pharmacy aims to provide a convenient and reliable source. This integration ensures that you can often leave your pet's appointment with the necessary prescriptions in hand, saving you a separate trip to an external pharmacy. Our veterinarians work closely with the pharmacy to ensure accuracy and provide clear instructions on medication administration.
One customer highlighted the thoroughness and compassion of the veterinarian, who took the time to explain every step of their cat Pippa's exam and answer all questions about her care. This dedication to communication likely extends to discussions about any prescribed medications, ensuring pet owners understand how to properly administer them and are aware of any potential side effects. The focus on educating pet owners is a key feature of the overall Banfield experience, which would naturally include guidance on pharmaceutical products.
Features of the Banfield Pet Hospital pharmacy, as inferred from the general hospital feedback, include:
- Convenient On-Site Access: Obtain prescribed medications and health products directly after your pet's appointment.
- Integration with Veterinary Care: Close collaboration between veterinarians and the pharmacy for accurate and appropriate dispensing.
- Clean and Organized Environment: Contributing to a comfortable experience for pet owners.
- Knowledgeable Staff: While the reviews don't specifically detail pharmacy staff, the positive comments about the overall team suggest a helpful approach when dealing with medication inquiries.
One review mentions signing up for a "wellness plan" in February. While not directly a pharmacy promotion, these plans often include benefits related to preventative medications like flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, which would be dispensed through the pharmacy. These wellness plans represent a way Banfield offers value and potentially cost savings on routine healthcare and associated pharmaceutical products.
However, it's important to acknowledge a negative review that raises concerns about customer service and communication with the corporate office. This review, while not specific to the pharmacy itself, highlights a potential area where the overall Banfield experience could be improved for some clients. The customer's inability to reach someone in the corporate office regarding their concerns is a point of feedback that should be noted for a balanced perspective.
Despite the negative feedback regarding corporate communication, the positive review emphasizes the quality of veterinary care and the comfortable facility, which are factors that contribute to a positive experience when utilizing the in-house pharmacy. Knowing that the medications dispensed are prescribed by a veterinarian who is familiar with your pet's health history offers an added layer of trust and safety.
For local pet owners in Raleigh, the Banfield Pet Hospital pharmacy at 5501 Capital Blvd Ste 102 offers a convenient solution for your pet's medication needs, integrated with comprehensive veterinary care. While specific pharmacy-focused promotions aren't detailed in the provided text, the wellness plans may offer value on preventative medications. We encourage you to discuss your pet's pharmaceutical needs with our veterinary team during your visit.
In conclusion, the Banfield Pet Hospital pharmacy in Raleigh provides a valuable service by offering on-site access to prescribed medications and health products, closely integrated with the veterinary care provided by their compassionate and thorough veterinarians. While one customer reported issues with corporate customer service, another praised the clean environment and attentive care. Consider the Banfield Pet Hospital pharmacy for a convenient and veterinarian-supported way to manage your pet's medication needs.

Feb 09, 2025 · Shenita EtwarooTERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!!! I won't go into all of the details here. I will say that customer services is horrible. I had concerns, I requested to speak with someone who in the corporate office and I was refused 3x. I spoke with the lead person initially on 4/21 and requested a name. I was told I had spoken with the main doctor. I again asked to speak with someone higher up outside of the clinic. I was told they would get back with me. I didn't hear anything back until 4/25. I was told she spoke with someone. I again asked if I could speak with someone since I have that right. I just signed onto their well ness plan in February and since then has had concerns. Well, she said she would get back to me and it is now 5/1/25 and no response. Basically, my concerns are irrelevant as the lead person hasn't provided me a name and number and hasn't returned my call. This is how a new client is treated at Banfield!!! Now if I call WRAL NEWS and have them featured for poor customer services & care. I bet they will call me then. A client has a right to speak with anyone and not be ignored. Please don't try and show face by saying you care about your customers or tell me to email anyone. I'm being respectful by not naming the person name !
May 01, 2025 · Ebee BrownI called on Friday to schedule an appointment for my pet and was put on hold for 15 minutes. When they finally picked up, they hung up on me. I called back, but they said they were closed. The next day, I called again and scheduled an appointment for Monday. When I arrived for the appointment, it turned out nothing was scheduled. I am very disappointed with their customer service. I drove 30 minutes to get there, taking time out of my busy schedule as a full-time student and worker. My pet needed to be seen, but they were booked up and couldn’t fit her in. I will not be returning to this location.
