We were looking to establish a vet for our new pet. I made an appt for her in Brentwood on Sunday, March 23 online. I also confirmed it. When we arrived, it was closed. I was never notified that my appt would be moved due to understaffing or any other reason. The PetSmart staff was very apologetic, and I don't fault them since they are a separate entity. However, we really adjusted our schedule today to make this appt happen, and we are extremely frustrated with this experience. I can't imagine how stressful it may have been if our dog was ill or injured with this kind of unreliability. We will establish care elsewhere.

I've been taking my Shitzu to Banfield for about a year now and I couldn't be happier. The staff is always so nice and they take great care of my dog. They always make sure he is comfortable and they treat him like he is their own. I would highly recommend Banfield to anyone looking for a great place to take their pets.

I have been a member of the Banfield family for over 25 years and a wellness member for all that time. Each of our dogs have been there since they were puppies, until unfortunately, the end of some of their lives. I place much trust in Banfield and their employees. They have taken good care of my fur babies.

I'm happy with Banfield/Brentwood service and care of my fur baby Midnight. I started using petsmart's grooming salon for her as well which provides great service and convenience.

Absolutely do not bring your pets here. Sunday the 1st I found a cat outside of my house. She was covered in fleas. It took 3 baths and flea treatment to get rid of them. I took her into this clinic on 9/2, Monday, to get scanned for a microchip to make sure this wasn’t anyone’s cat. The vet tech with colorful hair and a mustache (woman?) scanned the cat multiple times. She told my fiancé and I that the cat did not have a microchip. She put the cat in the system as “kitty” because we didn’t have a name for her yet (due to the fact of us not knowing she belonged to someone else). She told us we will put the age as 5 months so we can get the kitty plan and get her spayed. The plan would cost a little over $50 per month. I set an appointment for 9/10 for her vaccines and bloodwork and anything else she may need. I took the cat in yesterday and went into room one with a different vet tech than the 9/2 visit. We discussed getting vaccines for the cat and blood draws. The vet tech said she’d scan the cat for a microchip and then begin. I told her the cat already got scanned 9/2 and didn’t have one but to go ahead and do it if she has to! She said ok and scanned the cat. She told me the cat does in fact have a microchip. I was in disbelief! The vet tech said “I’ll be right back”, left the room, and didn’t come back for 45 minutes! I was left in the room wondering what was going to happen. I was taking care of this cat as if she was mine! I genuinely believed she was mine. I was ready to do anything and everything for her. The vet tech FINALLY comes back into the room after 45-50 minutes and tells me the owner is on the way. I was so angry. She didn’t update me, didn’t tell me she was going to call the owner, did not tell me the process. Now I’m being told I have to give away my cat (not my cat) :’( Anyone who has pets can imagine how I felt. My fiancé and I were so excited to have this new kitty. Every day she’s all we would talk about. I know that they had to call the owner (obviously!) if my pet was missing I’d be so happy to know someone found her and took such good care. My issue is with the customer service. 1) the microchip wasn’t caught the first time. 2) it was put in the system that my cat was 5 months old when she was indeed 7 years old.(I found out later)! And 3) they didn’t update me at all when they did find the microchip on that day. It was incredibly unprofessional and so sad that it all came about this way. If I knew she had a microchip day one, I would’ve been so happy to give her back to the owner. I sat and waited for the owner to get there to pick her up, quite literally sobbing. When he got there he told me “she gets out often” and that “she has a flea problem” … I literally got about 100 fleas off of her when i found her. He didn’t care about her one bit and it was devastating. I got a new baby today from the humane society. Just don’t waste your time at this place. They were horrible. No amount of apologies can make up for what this place put me and my family through.
