I was very happy at first coming here with my baby dog Cheech and cat pluto but then my dog cheech accidentally got stepped on and had broken ribs on the left side and we followed up with Banfield Hospital after getting out of the VA hospital They just did some x- rays on him yesterday and I get a call today and they told me that he still had fractures and I’m like OK yeah that stable cause it’s only been two weeks but his ribs were actually broken in the beginning and now they’re only fractures which means they have healed very well And tell me why the lady on the phone literally tried to tell me that a fracture and a broken bone are the same thing! I literally almost laughed in this lady’s face like damn I work in the medical field and I know for a fact that a fracture and a broken bone are two different things . I do appreciate how much they got to know us and know exactly who i am when i call without having to ask my Name or anything - sometimes i feel the vet is a bit pushy though. And alot of times ill talk to one person on the phone and get told one thing, then will talkk to aoemone else and get told the opposite. I think they might be a little short staffed or maybe just need to communicate with eachother better

It all depends on which veterinarian you get. Veterinarians have left this place for another for whatever reason. However, the visits have all been mostly positive. All the vets seem to care about the pet and not too "pushy" on meds. They just lay out the information for you.

The staff are always friendly and personable. They treat both of my big fur babies as if they are little kids coming in for a doctor’s appointment. They take great care of their needs.
