My babies and I have been with Banfield for 10+ years. Just recently, I was thinking of going with another plan. You see, our Dr Bird retired, and we love her! At the last minute, we tried QA, and we're pleasantly surprised by the facility and caring staff. We felt like we had known them for 10 years. Our baby Morty had heart surgery 2 years prior and needs special attention, and Banfield has always done right by us. We pay a monthly fee, and they handle the scheduling, shots, deworming, teeth cleaning, and comprehensive exams to include blood work xrays and stool. Morty needs an Echo Ultrasound yearly, and Banfield even arranges that with a cardiologist. I, being a Disabled Veteran and in my 70's on a fixed income, I find the monthly fee works best! For a nominal fee, we have their ears and nails done. There is nowhere else you can find a one-stop shop for your babies!

Meh it's okay, I loved our other vet. The heavy pressure on the yearly plan is a bit annoying. It is the first thing they push on you when you get on the exam room. American capitalism is annoying. They told my dog needed two teeth out and they found pus. I don't know if I can believe them. They seem very money driven which makes me doubt the need for services. Why didn't he ever complain about his teeth if they were that bad? He naws on bones all the time and never yelped while brushing his teeth. Low trust. When I came in they had a bunch more charges I could consent to and the front desk staff tried to offer my pet treats upon arrival. He had to go under and they knew this, so no treats or is life could be in danger. There is a line in the form that would sign, which is a legal agreement, and it didn't make sense. I was told to sign it since it didn't apply to me, uh no thank you.

Banfield is a fantastic veterinary clinic and is convenient for anyone living in the lower Queen Anne area in Seattle. They work hard to get you in even with limited availability and provide a great amount of care when dealing with your pets. The vets and staff in the vet take there time to explain illnesses, potential treatments, and the associated costs. I’ve been especially happy with their willingness to share alternatives when treatments get exceedingly costly. My cat Almond (pictured) is a happy and healthy cat because of the care that they all provide.

Original post: AVOID THIS OFFICE. Only go here if you have no other options. It's commonplace for vets to charge a little more than expected, but this clinic goes too far over the line to overcharge for everything. They add services to the bill that they don't actually deliver on. A fur trimming around a wound was $57, quite silly, but fine. However, when the bandage was taken off 3 days later, there was nothing trimmed back. This is just one example. It's blatant theft. Seems like the care they provided was standard, but you're going to pay dearly for it. Update: We feel a lot better about this location after speaking with the office manager. They were very responsive and understanding. From our past experiences with other vet clinics, we still think that there are better options for the combination of care and pricing than this particular location. However, if your animal needs more immediate attention we suggest including this as an option. The staff seems to offer quality service, there just seems to be a disconnect on communicating between staff on which services were given versus what should be billed. Proceed with caution, but don't rule it out would be our advice.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I’ve been told by a veterinarian at this office she didn’t read my pets file when she first contacted me. Additionally after explaining multiple times with three weeks of appointments that all of the issues started with adverse reactions to an ear medication she claimed that none of the problems were related. - many tests and medications later the drug manufacturer confirmed the side effects spoke to this vet on my behalf- Yet this doctor still denies it. My dog went in fine and now has ‘a possible life long issue’ due to their negligence. This location not only neglected to warn me of possible side effects and appropriate after care of the medications, they canceled follow up appointments for the issue they caused without even contacting me.
