I’m so frustrated with this location. Every time we go in for a comprehensive exam, there is no report. When I ask them how it went, they just say: it went good, she is doing well. Today I asked three times for a print out of the exam, was ignored all three times. I figured it would be available in the app, like it used to be when we went to the Meyer Park location, so I checked, and it says “no data available”. So am I just supposed to take their word for it? I am not even 100% sure they performed the exam. Another thing is we dropped my dog off for a comprehensive exam at 8:05, they took her in at around 8:20, they called me at 8:57 to tell me she was ready for pick up. The exam is supposed to include a physical exam along with the bloodwork and urine/fecal tests. Plus a respiratory exam for my dog’s cough. HOW WAS IT ALL DONE in less than 40 min? Plus, the doctor didn’t come out to talk to us or even call to discuss the results. So, basically, we used the available exam, but got no answers about my dog’s condition and there’s absolutely no report. If y’all charge me $80 a month for the OWP, I expect better customer service.

I’m quite disappointed with my visit today. I took my dog in for his monthly cytopoint injection, I usually take him to VCA, but lately I have been taking my dog to banfield because it is closer. Little did I know, they charged me a $72 exam fee simply for going in for his monthly maintenance cytopoint injection. So it took what is usually a $75 monthly shot, up to roughly $150. It would have been nice to have been told that I would be charge this absurd amount as well, I would have happily declined and continued to take him to VCA. Not only that, but no physical exam was conducted, they didn’t even take his weight. They literally took him to the back, gave him the shot, and brought him out and said “ok you’re all set to go”. I can’t help but feel cheated. This is not the kind of vet I want to give my business to. I will not be returning to Banfield.

I took my cat in because he has very very bad ear infection, full of dark gunks and oil in his inner ears. He is Fiv+. My boy was very uncomfortable. All they did was to prescribe an ear drop. No ear cleaning, no nothing, and that costed $270. The ear drops never really worked. I have to consistently clean his ears out since it keeps getting bad if I don’t. Seriously in need of another vet that is not in for just money-grab.

I have been this location's faithful customer for about 4 years. I never had any complaint of their services until very recently. I wish I could give ZERO stars. It was suppose to be just a normal dental check up for my cat but it turned out to be a disaster. Long story short, my cat did not make it and died at Animal ER shortly after the dental cleaning was performed at this Banfield Katy/Fry location. After doing some investigation myself, I found out that the medical records were documented poorly and did not have any notes after the dental procedure. My cat have been through the same procedure 2, 3 times so I did not think of it much and brought her home. They should have NEVER released my cat knowing that she had low blood pressure and low heart rate. At the time of pick up, my cat was already showing signs of heavy breathing, breathing with mouth open. However, they did not care to look more carefully and just kept making excuses to cover themselves. I lost all my faith to your business and I will NEVER be using your service & products in the future. I hope you fix how you operate your business so there won't be other people who have to go through what I had to go through. If you love your Pet, please consider my review and make sure you check your pets after any surgery or procedures you trust them to do. I emailed Banfield corporate & the director of the area, but they had nothing to say other than "sorry". In USA, especially in Texas, the laws are set up where owners of pets will have much more disadvantage against the corporation & Doctors who work at the hospital. So basically, they are not scared of the lawsuits and they just do not care enough to these issues. I highly recommend anybody who considers picking this location for their pet's care, please re-think and consider my story.
