Banfield Pet Hospital

I have been searching for a vet to care for my 4 dogs and Dr Ravi was recently referred to me by my hairdresser. I made my first appointment for my Chihuahua Trumplet on a Sunday as they are open every day. That’s so convenient too! Dr Ravi was very thorough with her appointment and I then scheduled her dental cleaning a few days later. The monthly wellness plan is the way to go no doubt! After the dental cleaning, I was shocked that Dr Ravi actually took the time to call me and provided details about the procedure and Trumplet’s blood work results. I have made appointments for my other 3 dogs and will sign up for the wellness plan for them too. I highly recommend Dr Ravi and the staff at this New Tampa Banfield location. I just referred my mom and my friend to go see Dr Ravi!

DO NOT GO HERE. I took my six week old kitten in for a constipation issue. Multiple vet techs and a veterinarian hard-sold me an early kitten care subscription plan to take care of early kitten care services like neutering and vaccines. To date, I've spent about $800 at Banfield to resolve the constipation issue. Banfield never got to perform those procedures as two weeks later the kitten died from the constipation issue they could not resolve. I tried to cancel the subscription for early kitten care, and Banfield is demanding a settlement of $500 to cancel the subscription despite the fact they have not and can not perform on the services on the kitten as it is now dead due to their incompetence. Search online and you'll see I'm not alone with this issue. I can't believe they haven't been sued for not adequately disclosing the risk of paying a monthly payment for a year after your pet dies. Cross posting this since we went to the Petsmart on Commerce Drive and Hunters Green locations.

Our dog has been struggling with a skin issue. We took the last appointment available on a Sunday and received the kindest most gentle care front CVT Steph. I seriously can’t thank her enough for her time and how sweet she was with chase. She listened to all of our concerns and got us on the right track for healing. Thanks again Steph.

I showed up with my dog for a 10am appointment at 9:30am. I was told that I cannot check in until at least 9:45. So I sat down. There were no other guests checking in from 9:30-10:00. There were no other guests waiting in the lobby either. I continued to wait until 10:15. I watched the receptionist greet and check in guest who walked up at 10 and after. I was ignored and forgotten about. I got up and left. I’m sure there is another Banfield that values their customers and their time.

Very friendly staff. They’re very honest . We take our lovely cat to them and they take care of him.
