Banfield Pet Hospital

We have been taking our golden to Banfield for 12 years, three different locations around the country. He has been going to this location and has been seen by three different vets over the last eight years. Our dog was really sick the last four weeks of his life and he was in and out of the office numerous times, we had to let him go! We chose in home euthanasia. We had informed Banfield of our decision. AND We have not heard from or talked to this Banfield?! What a disappointment! Not a phone call or a card with condolences and or a THANK YOU for supporting this office!! When and if we get another pup we will be looking for another Vet!

Banfield is a great option for people who are looking for the convenience of a vet near a pet store. They have an wallet-friendly support service since puppies require multiple shots, etc the first year. Unless you have an established veterinarian this is may be a good option for you. Just stay away from this specific Banfield location. Terrible reception / office coordination. Inconsistent presence of veterinarian. Staff doesn't understand policy. Staff is inconsistent with communication (different story each person you talk to). Constant rearranging of scheduled appointments with flagrant disregard for people's schedules. I would rather drive an hour out of my way to any other Banfield of the valley than deal with this.

Dr. Lia Gross is the best! She takes excellent care of all of our animals, knows them name name and is always glad to see us when we come. The office staff and vet techs are phenomenal and know exactly how to love on your fur babies. I wouldn’t think of taking my animals anywhere else but there! Thank you for always taking care of us.

Dr. Spangler is the only Doctor I trust with my babies. Dogs and cats but I have more cats. She’s the kitty expert, she knows everything about cats and I love that about her. Not only does she have THE BIGGEST HEART for animals but an even bigger heart for others. And there’s not a lot of Doctors that have these amazing qualities so she’s a diamond in the ruff ;) Trust me when I say, she is the best there is. Thank you Dr. Spangler, for everything you do for my babies 🐾

I strongly advise against taking your pet to Banfield. Our initial visit with a few of the technicians and one of the doctors was pleasant, but things took a turn for the worse when it came time to have my cat spayed. Among the issues was an infection she received. When I brought her back just two days after the procedure, they provided me with medication that was supposed to last two weeks but barely lasted the first. When I called to inquire about this, they accused me of improperly administering the medication, which was completely false. Additionally, the staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. We frequently encountered issues with our appointments, either being told we didn't have one or waiting over 20-30 minutes to be seen despite having one scheduled. The lack of communication and genuine care for the animals is apparent. We will not be returning.
