I love this vet - I’ve always loved Banfield but this vet in particular is so loving and great with my dog. Respectfully, my tiny dog is a menace and they do so well with him. He’s entering his elderly years and they have been so informative and helpful in this new life milestone.

Oct 23, 2024 · Tegan Diemerthey removed a kidney stone from my dog, everything was ok, she is fully recovered, they love what they do.
Sep 30, 2024 · Patricio Rossi (MeduZa)My cat is scheduled to be put down tomorrow because the original issue (drastic weight loss and severe vomiting) was dismissed by Dr. Dorkin. He actually questioned how I knew what my cat’s original weight was because his weight at the time of the visit was “”healthy”” per Dr. Dorkin and it was not concerning to him (my cat had lost over 10 lbs which he did not seem to believe as he kept questioning how I knew what his weight was prior to the drastic weight loss.) He dismissed my concerns regarding my cat’s weight and pushed for a wellness plan that included a teeth cleaning and dental x-rays rather than focus on the main concern which was excessive weight loss that occurred rather quickly over the course of a few months. After all his recommendations were said and done, my cat was still ill and not keeping food down, he then recommended $700 x-rays at which point I sought out a second opinion. The second vet at a different veterinary practice could immediately see the weight loss on my cat because of his loose skin and from an abdominal exam he could feel my cat’s intestines inflamed and actually showed me how they felt. My cat more than likely has lymphoma of the gastrointestinal tract but requires lots of tests and ultrasound to confirm (tests that are unspeakably expensive through Banfield.) X-Rays through the second vet were going to cost $75 an image versus the $700 flat rate at Banfield and the second vet even informed me that due to the intestinal inflammation, x-rays won’t give a real answer in this case, ultrasound will which was significantly more affordable through them ($500 ultrasound vs over $1000 at Banfield). Banfield is an absolute joke and my pet’s will NEVER go back. They do not care about animals. They only care about money and it’s truly disgusting. They bled my pockets while giving fake diagnostics to my pet.
Jul 24, 2024 · Brianna Marie OrtizWe feel this place rocks. They know how to handle our spicy little 6lb BEASTY.🐈⬛. And our sweet little BAO 🐕. They take great care of our fur babies.
Mar 06, 2024 · Jeff McFarlandI had a scare with my 15 yr old pom. She became very ill. To find out after she had pyrometra , kidney failure, pancreatitis. When Dr. Norkis opens my baby she discovers that my Bambi has her organs attached to her uterus. Which she had to perform a very delicate and patient surgery. Which this doctor was blessed enough to succeed with this surgery. When the doctor asked me if I may have know the reason of this happening because she noticed Bambi had a recent surgery I said yes. Bambi many years ago had an emergency c-section at VEC were they kept her over 9 hours in labor when they took her in around 8 pm to do the c section and I returned at 5:30 am and she was just put into surgery were she lost all her puppies then the doctor comes out to tell me I am sorry her puppies didn’t make it. Also Bambi is not out of the woods she may become septic due to so many hours in labor and can die. I felt my whole world just dropped . I was surprised to see it wasn’t the same doctor who I left Bambi with it was the next morning crew who attended Bambi. So the VEC staff just left my baby suffering in a cage by herself for hours. Then after a couple of years I took Bambi to get spayed and the doctor opened her up noticed the strange findings notified me and told me the bad news of that Bambi can never be spayed. I believe this doctor because I worked for her so I felt confident of what she was telling me. I guess she should have told me to find a doctor with more experience so then 10 years later I found myself at Banfield Hospital of Casselberry with my bambi almost dying. I am truly blessed and thankful for Dr. Norkis and her technician Avriel and the rest of the staff that work there Bambi and I Thank you .
