My dog Hurley's health had been declining and he was rapidly losing weight and his ability to move. I called in as an emergency and emotionally told them I was desperate if not for just an opinion on if I was making the right decision to let Hurley go. They immediately told me the doctor could see me in a very small window towards close. Everyone was empathetic and understanding what we were going through and gave us all the time and attention we needed Although his diagnosis wasn't good we decided what was best for him was to have an in home euthanasia. The vet did let us know that our thoughts and guilt were valid and that we were making he right decision. We booked the in home services for a few days later and spent all our time with Hurley till then. Thank you for allowing us to get in the office on such short notice, it really allowed us to not wait any longer and allowing him to suffer. Pics of the good boy attached. I like to post all his pics from when I got him 13 years ago. He was a unique dog with an ever-changing look. The last picture was the day before we left go. Still the strongest dog ever.

Jun 27, 2024 · Drew SmithSuch a terrible experience we had at this location. Front desk was very polite but the nurses have no diplomacy when it comes to dog care. They barely acknowledged my dog when they entered the room, this is after waiting 20 minutes in the wrong exam room apparently. He’s an in room dog and it’s in his notes but they insisted on examining him in the open area but I refused per the notes on his account. He’s an in room dog. Finally the other assistant comes in, with attitude, doesn’t acknowledge my dog and they start to try to get blood, unsuccessfully - which is my first time seeing them try to take blood from my dogs neck, ever. The other assistant tried to hold my dog down, after I told them he had surgery on the leg. It was just a nightmare. They then tried the leg unsuccessfully! Let’s just say I stopped everything, and me and my dog left and will never return. The attitudes need to change. Front desk was super polite but those assistants need more training.
Aug 04, 2024 · Brent NisbettI’ll be honest since no one else will. With these prices you’re better off at PETCO ! Not only do they offer financing for the high vet bill but they’re plans don’t only cover wellness visits so if your pet does have an actual problem outside of standard care , you won’t be footing out your whole paycheck. Not only that but they don’t try and constantly shot your pet up with steroids for money. Not to mention I’ve never had a professionalism problem with PETCO as I have with several banfield hospital , this one is by far the worse. Not only that but THEY DONT TAKE PET INSURANCE , but guess who does ? PETCO! I cannot stress enough how much more money and time you’ll save going there than going to any of these locations , not only that but the medicine they gave my dog didn’t even help yet I had to pay 500$ for a 2 hour visit 🤣😂 . Don’t waste your time and if you do go, good luck 😭 . And those wellness plans are a SCAM I got way cheaper wellness options elsewhere
Oct 31, 2024 · Shay GiddensI was very disappointed with my experience at this location. The staff rushed through the intake process, and most lacked compassion and communication skills. They administered multiple sedatives to my dog without first obtaining my approval. It was only after these attempts that they informed me the dental procedure couldn't be completed because my dog wasn't responding to the sedatives. At that point, I also learned that I would be billed for all the sedation methods they tried. If they had contacted me beforehand, I would not have authorized the additional attempts. When I finally picked up my dog (after they monitored him for a while) he was heavily sedated and could barely walk. The woman at the front desk was polite, but firm in her belief that someone had contacted me the day before the appointment to explain everything, which did not happen. I was so heartbroken by this entire experience and cried the entire drive home.
Jul 25, 2024 · Amanda MatthewsMy 4 year old Cane Corso has been going to Eastpoint Banfield since he was born. He has received excellent care and nurturing, all the Drs and staff became family. Roman was always excited to come see his “Aunties”..Upon relocating to Arizona, Roman has been looking for his Banfield family upon going to his new location. We miss Eastpoint dearly!!
