Banfield Pet Hospital

I have used this Banfield for years. They used to have great customer service over the last year. It’s gone downhill considerably. The communication between staff and doctors and customers is horrible. The communication between the manager and their staff is horrible. It’s really unfortunate because I spoke with the manager and she expressed how sorry she was but then yet her staff called me two more times to Schedule my Pet after I already expressed that I would be changing my location to a different Banfield’s, I almost felt as if they were harassing me on purpose because I chose to move my dogs to a different Banfield. The level of professionalism and customer service has really deteriorated over the last year. I would highly recommend any Banfield but this one.

I am not going to lie, I was a bit nervous about switching to Banfield after reading lots of mixed reviews online. However, I have had an incredible experience with them thus far. My previous vet advised that my 5 year old dog Franklin was in need of a professional dental cleaning and quoted me $1200. I did some shopping around and discovered Banfield’s prevention/wellness plans, which saved me hundreds of dollars on the dental cleaning alone. The staff at this location have been nothing but warm and welcoming. Franklin is a nervous boy at the vet and they take the time to make him feel comfortable. I had so many questions about the plan and the procedure and each of the staff members who helped me, from the front desk staff to the vet tech to the veterinarian, was patient and kind while giving me information. They explained their answers in detail including the reasoning for optional add ons like anti nausea medications and dental X-rays without trying to push me one way or another. They updated me twice throughout the day of his cleaning via phone. I am so impressed by the outcome of the cleaning as well, Franklin’s teeth look phenomenal now! I am so happy about my decision to switch to Banfield. I feel like I can trust that Franklin is in good hands and that I am paying a fair price for his care.

I love the care team they’re always there for us whenever we need them and they’re so professional and loving and caring who could ask for anything more thank you for all you’ve done for my fur babies and me you are appreciated

They will chastise you for not having their wellness plan. It’s pretty predatory. I have a main vet and use this for teeth cleaning because it’s a third of the cost. But I’d never take my pet here otherwise.

The vets, techs and other staff stand head and shoulders above other Banfield clinics - well worth the 40-minute drive even though there are other facilities closer to my house. Kudos, also, to the pilot partnership with VAC Urgent Care in Wheat Ridge, which saved me a lot of time and money when my dog needed medical attention over the weekend.
