Outstanding in every possible way! They have a system set up where you wait in your car until a room is ready. It doesn't take long. Thereafter, the rooms are comfortable and although I failed to remember the Vet Tech's name, she couldn't have been more welcoming and a consummate professional. Dr. Fanous is the most caring, patient, informative Vet we have ever met. Michelle, the manager, was also incredibly helpful. Sidney, our new puppy, loved everybody! Everyone took the time to answer all our questions, gave us lots of useful information to take home and we left confident that Sidney will receive premium healthcare. Additionally, affordable! I must almost mention they have a wonderful app that conveniently has your appointments, easy communication with practice, etc... Please consider checking them out - your pet will thank you!

The best vet I’ve ever been to!!!!! Also I thought I reviewed Back Bay before but maybe that was on yelp. My most favorite thing I like about this place is they do not overcharge you and recommend unnecessary things. You know for this place to be in Newport Beach I thought it was gonna be super expensive and it’s one of the more affordable know it is the most affordable that I’ve ever been to in my 56 years and since I was 18 I’ve always had a dog or two. All the doctors are wonderful I always go to Dr Fanous and he has a heart of gold like what an amazing man… They take care of my Pomeranian little minnie Lou and my miniature pincher Ruby with Great care. I am very grateful to Back Bay veterinary hospital🙏🙏🤩

I'm thankful a friend referred me to Back Bay Veterinary Hospital. New to the cat world after adopting an older Bengal that's fairly healthy but the little guy chipped his K9 tooth on New Year's Day and it was bugging him enough that he stopped eating his dry food and wasn't drinking water like usual and stopped grooming himself. There was zero interest in playing like his all time favorite game, fetch. I was worried about sedation and the side effects of anesthesia (Bengals are allergic). Dr. K was out of town but I'm happy Dr. Fanous was able to see my cat first thing the following day. He was gentle with Dakota and within a very short amount of time came up with a treatment plan of an antibiotic and pain meds. Happy to report the little guy was back to his usual self eating dry food, drinking water, grooming himself and playing fetch again. This was after just 1 day visiting Back Bay Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Fanous was fair in assessment and treatment and didn't recommend any other services that could be construed as unnecessary. I was relieved that Dakota didn't need be sedated and no teeth needed to be pulled. Mind you this kitty isn't the most stoked cat to be at the vet but he managed to cooperate as best as possible. I would recommend others looking for a vet to strongly consider Back Bay Veterinary Hospital for a fair and no-nonsense experience.
